When home, I live quietly in the other room, we share the common space and I clean the apartment almost every day.

Interaction with Guests
I like a person that's friendly, easy-going and responsible. I'm here to help you make the most out of your visit and not interfere otherwise.
Price is best I can do and only bookings thru the site can be made, thanks for understanding.
No smoking, no loud music! Please apply make-up outside the bathroom, plenty of mirrors everywhere. I have two separate bags for trash and recyclable. Feel free to use any product in the bathroom, any space you may need. You"ll find extra towels, sheets and blankets in the yellow cabinet. Please understand that this is a modest apartment, with live-in host. Certainly not a hotel setting but, hopefully you'll get to feel at home instead.
I had a wonderful time at Iulia's.
She gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. She was always very nice and she helped me make the most of my trip in NYC by giving me great advice.
The room was perfect, very confortable and spacious.
Line 7 is close to the appartment and it's very convenient to get to Manhattan.
Thanks again for everything Iulia!
I had an absolutely great stay in Iulias apartement. Getting there was very easy following Iulias description, and the room and apartement was even nicer than the pictures suggested.
Iulia is a very considerate host. She gives good advise to the area as well as the city in general and how to get around and we had some really nice chats in general. The apartment feels at the same time very homely and "professional" meaning clean and well equipped.
The area is very friendly, relatively quiet but with easy access to lovely restaurants, take out and is a nice neighbourhood for a walk.
I will make sure to book the room again next time I am in NYC.
I had an amazing stay at lulia's place. She was so accommodating, nice and helpful. Location is perfect and so close from the subway station- 7 train. I would come back for sure.
Julia made me feel very welcome and even allowed me to stay a few hours past the check out time so that I could do some last-minute exploration before my flight. The bed is very comfortable, and the private room has a nice view of the city. The location was great too. It's central location let me get to both Manhattan and Flushing easily (the 7 line).
Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd book again in case I ever needed a place to stay.
I stayed ay Lulia's place only 1 night, but it was a very good experience. I haven't the chance to meet Lulia, but her mother was very helpful and friendly. When I need to go to NYC next time, I'll probably ask Lulia again.
The room description and photos are accurate.
I never met Julia (who was away on a trip when I arrived) instead I met her mother Maria. Maria made me feel more than welcome, she was very kind and friendly, acting to help me a lot. The room itself was very nice, the bed was massive and very comfortable and right next to the bathroom. There was plenty of fridge space and a cooking area too. She was even nice enough to let my friend stay the last night and then leave her suitcase there for a few days for a few extra dollars.
The only thing I found a bit difficult was the noise at night of the pipes in the room and of traffic outside but I'm sure you'd find this anywhere in NYC and using some of the earbuds she had left worked a charm.
I spent almost seven weeks with Lulia in her very comfortable, clean apartment. The description of the apartment was accurate. My room was bright and airy, one of the most comfortable bed's I have slept on, and the view of Manhatten in the distance always put a smile on my face in the morning and evenings.
I loved the diverse
neighbourhood, and the feeling of living in a safe neighbourhood.
The apartment is near all amenities, fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and the subway which is only a 7 minutes walk away, very easy into Manhatten.
Lulia is one of the most generous people have I met, very helpful, nothing is too much trouble.
If I go back to New York I will definitely be stay with Lulia.
