The Gates Room features a queen size bed with a private bathroom. There is a small desk with mountain views and 100gb fiber for working remotely in a beautiful and quiet Vermont setting.

The booking price includes a self-serve breakfast of homemade granola, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and tea as well as access to a shared full kitchen and parlor.

The space
The Spooner House was built in 1782 by Paul Spooner, lieutenant governor of the Vermont Republic. It has since enjoyed a diverse history as a resort, boarding house, working dairy, and private residence.

The room is very spacious with a queen sized bed and private bathroom with sink, shower, bath, and toilet. We provide everything you need including towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap.

The room also features a very large closet and plenty of storage space, 5 windows with eastern and southerly views, fiber internet, wifi, a desk and dresser.
