Rustic Bunkhouse Small Studio/Efficiency Apartment is located across the lower sundeck. Not the more detailed wood work as the Custom Cedar and Walnut Studio Available in a Separate listing but still a charming small space with more bedding for a bigger group of family or friends to rest when they are not enjoying the lake. Features two adjoining rooms and a reclaimed dock wood bathroom. Approximately 310 sq./ft.
Located on the far side of the lower 80 foot sundeck. Includes full use further side of lower sundeck area with grill, table with umbrella and some outdoor furniture. Full size exterior refrigerators and deep freeze available Please inquire about the use and availability of the upper deck.
Pet Friendly! Private Entrance, Bathroom & Parking. Huge Sundeck & Completely Covered Deck Above with Ceiling Fans and Sky Lights and Plenty of Outdoor Furniture. Water Fountain. Private Lake Access, Walls Decorated with Picasso, Van Gogh, and Dali Reproductions, Very Unique & Posh, King size Bed and a couple of Built in Bunks, Air Mattresses, 2 person Backpacking Hammocks and other Sleeping Options. Very close and convenient from highway in just minutes. About a 15 minute boat or car ride in either direction to Norris Landing - Jimmy's Place and 33 Bridge Marina - Bubba's Restaurant & Bar as well. Both Generally have Live Seasonal Entertainment on Weekends.
Great Out Door Space and Furniture, Huge Sun Deck, Wraparound Covered Porch, Grills, Bag Chairs, Tables, Some Outdoor Cooking Supplies, Fire Rings and some Umbrellas. Deer, Turkey, Water, Trees, Fountains, Flowers. Great place for Walking & Bike Riding. Secluded and Private but Convenient to Dock & Stores. All Friendly Pets Welcome!
The outdoors is the largest draw to the area. You can enjoy a covered private deck area with a Table and Chairs just outside the entrance, an umbrella table, grills and chairs to the front on the large sundeck and you can enjoy the upper wrap around covered decking as well if it was to rain or to get out of the sun shine or for meals with more seating for larger groups , games, conversation, wild life watching, dancing or relaxing playing music, the massage table and more.
You will never tire of the beautiful view of the large yard with wooded areas on each side, the lake, the sunset, and probably several deer and more wildlife. You will have access to floats, tubes, some life vests and a few water toys to enjoy on the lake as well as some hammocks made for two, fire pits for roasting marshmallows and a fishing pole for simply relaxing by the lake in the sun or in the shade. If we have a canoe or a kayak at the time you would be welcomed to use it as well but they are not guaranteed so please inquire about availability rentals or a place that delivers them onsite if it is something you for sure would like to do.
Bring a football or a frisbee to toss around, play fetch with your pup, play horseshoes in the large gently sloping yard, corn hole on the sundeck or covered deck! Whether you bring your own boat or plan to rent a boat, Straight Creek Dock is just across the lake or a short 5 minute drive by road for launching and rentals with Cedar Grove Marina, Beach Island, Norris Landing and Lone Mountain Boat Dock only minutes further.
Airbnb wants it to be known that an explicit rule exists and is visible here to any and all guests prior to booking that Airbnb does not allow parties and events. Parties and events are explicitly not allowed by Airbnb. We do have a unique place, and we are unique hosts. We do not require a weekly 7 night minimum stay or a stay that starts and ends on a Sunday or any particular day of the week, like most lakefront rentals. If you are up late, it is OK. If you wish to arrive late it's OK. If you want to fish all night long it's just fine! Firepits, camp fires, fireworks, and music after midnight or first thing in the morning are all ok.
Safety is very important to us, but we do not have the same cookie cutter one size fits all rules as some places that may may not be too rigid and strict for some but may limit or exclude many others and might even result in you and your family or friends being legally evicted on spot with a out any refund of any sort if you happen to overlook any particular line in the 10-20 pages of contractual agreement papers that have more terms and conditions than the fine print TOS found in many huge internet service application providing corporations designed to mine and sell your information for profit.
Unlike many we do not have a required a stack of page full of difficult to understand agreements, strategically placed required acknowledgements and scattered conflicting statements that you are required to acknowledge and sign as to be used against you in anyways as deemed necessary if and when the contractual designers deem anything to be necessary.

Neighborhood highlights
Very quiet most of the time. Usually if someone comes down the road it is the Post Man, UPS or Fed EX except for the 4th of July when our boat dock is often a prime location for a big fireworks display. Usually can't tell a Saturday from a Tuesday most of the time as 80-90% of houses in the area are second vacation homes and unoccupied most of the year. Only 2 houses past ours before the cul-de-sac. Separated by trees and woods on both sides. Private & Convenient.

Currently in the sixth season with Airbnb welcoming kind folk and still loving the experiences gained through meeting and hosting so many remarkable people from all over the world. It has been an amazing journey of learning filled with lots of fun times and many good feelings. We were honored to receive super host status the very first time we were eligible in our first quarter after we started in 2017 and have continued to derive much satisfaction from the 20+ times that we have continued to be recognized.
We love learning and thinking and diversity, good conversation, music, food, animals, the outdoors and life. We enjoy the company of others as well as solitude and many various experiences. Educated and experienced in psychology, gerontology and counseling working in community agency, educational and private settings. Undertook various other endeavors over the years from climbing towers and constructing log cabins to running a marina nights and managing a family funeral home. In the past couple of years we have also opened a vintage Etsy shop and and we really have enjoyed taking it to a rank in the top 96.3 of sales of all Etsy shops world wide. With a separate physical location grand opening just around the corner!
Love travel and enjoy time with interesting friends from all over the world in a generally stress free and peaceful environment.
