Midge goes above and beyond

Guests return year after year, praising Midge's warmth and the peaceful, homey feel of the property
North of Chappell Hill, this historic home has a chef’s kitchen and 4 downstairs bedrooms, each with bath access. The 5th en suite bedroom with bath and sitting area is upstairs.

My hope is minutes away from wedding venues. It is close to Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park , Brenham and Round Top. (Kyle Field in College station is 35 minutes away.)

The space
This 1899 house has totally modern amenities and unobstructed views . Rolling hills surround the property.

The Farmhouse boasts a total of 5 bedrooms, all with bath access. On the first floor, are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The 5th upstairs bedroom is a private suite complete with a full large private bath. From the upstairs you can see Chapelton Vineyards. The Texas landscape is unobstructed.

The Farmhouse comfortably accommodates 8 guests on the lower level, with an additional fee and capacity for 2 extra guests.

The kitchen is well appointed with a semi-pro 6 burner Fisher Paykel propane stovetop and electric oven, a smaller Wolf electric oven, a wet bar, and a plethora of cooking utensils for a top chef. The dining room seats 10, but guests often play games and work puzzles on it.

The airy back porch is a perfect place for morning coffee. Watching sunsets with a glass of wine is a relaxing way to end the day.

Cows and broodmares graze in pastures. Deer occasionally visit at night.

***Guests*** The house comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 downstairs bedrooms, each with bath access. The upstairs suite easily accommodates 2 more guests.

Guest access
On-site parking is plentiful. Drive to back of property and unload on back porch.

My work: Fundraising
Built in 1899, this restored historic farmhouse welcomes guests to country life. The farm is on 22 acres and is surrounded by hills and rolling terrain. Start your day with a cup of morning coffee on large back porch. Watch breathtaking sunsets and reminisce over an evening glass of wine. There is quietness here. A few horses and cows graze in pastures and a deers may visit late at night.
