Just a few miles north of Chappell Hill you’l find the quietness of the country and a home with modern amenities. It Is easily accessible to College Station and Kyle Field, Navasota, Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park , Brenham and Round Top.

The space
There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths down, all with bath access. The house sleeps 8 guests downstairs. A private suite is upstairs. Built in 1899 the house has modern amenities, yet it maintains a sense of history.

The kitchen is large and well appointed with a semi-pro 6 burner Fisher Paykel propane stovetop and oven, a smaller Wolf electric oven, a wet bar, and a plethora of cooking utensils for a top chef.

A large stone fireplace is a focal point of the house. The dining table seats 10 and guests often play games and puzzles on it.

The huge, airy back porch is a perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening while viewing gorgeous sunsets. Cows and broodmares graze contently in pastures and deer may be seen in yard at night.

***Guests*** The house comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 downstairs bedrooms, each with bath access.

A private upstairs suite can be available if arrangements are made. The upstairs suite has a beautiful view, a wet bar, refrigerator, private bath and is accessible via both exterior and interior staircases.

Built in 1899, this historic farmhouse welcomes guests to country life. Horses and cows graze in pastures, a young foal frolics close to his mother. Deer visit at night. This luxury BnB is surrounded by hills and rolling terrain and sis surrounded by unobstructed acres on 22 acres. back porch is a place to unwind and watch sunrises and sunsets. There is a peace that quietness brings, spiritual renewal and the rhythm of small town country life. Paved roads attract bikers, walkers, and runners to this area and hikers can explore Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park, a short distance away. At back of park is the Brazos River. There is an awe inspiring walk high above the river bank and learn a bit of this famous river’s history. *My Farm Manager checks on confirmed guests and livestock daily. Chapelton Vineyard is a prestigious new vineyard over the the hill behind the farm. “the original TEXANA” is an incredible new event cent across the road from my bnb. Raymond West wrote a book about my place: “Bennie Krueger, Texas Ranger…Texas Gentleman.” Many decedents live in area. *MAIN HOUSE: Sleeps 8 people in 4 downstairs bedrooms, each with bath access. *UPSTAIRS PRIVATE SUITE: This 5th bedroom, with interior and exterior staircases, includes a large bathroom, bar, and TV area that can accommodate larger groups. *PET FEE:There is a pet fee of $50 per day per dog with a maximum of 2 dogs.
