SUSTAINABILITY COMMITMENT
Our dedication to minimizing environmental impact extends to both our listings and our own home. We responsibly manage trash, recycling, and compost. Furthermore, we contribute to the community by donating bottle returns to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, aiding local families and individuals facing the financial challenges of treatment. Thank you for being part of our sustainability efforts.

GUEST WELL-BEING
The well-being of our guests is our top priority. Our home is outfitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a sprinkler system, and a fire extinguisher on every floor. The boiler, newly installed in 2023, undergoes annual inspections and servicing by a qualified technician. During winter, our commitment extends to clearing and sanding driveways and pathways for your safety and convenience. Your peace of mind is paramount to us.

NATURE & BUGS
Our charming house in rural Vermont offers an immersive experience in nature, surrounded by lush forests. Embrace the tranquility, but keep in mind that bugs are a part of this natural setting. Ants, wasps, mosquitos, black flies, and ladybugs are active during spring, summer, and fall. While they pose no threat to your safety, having bug spray on hand will enhance your outdoor enjoyment. Lighting a fire can also be an effective way to keep them at bay.

LOCATION
The property is situated in rural Vermont, accessible via town-maintained dirt roads. For visits between November and May, we highly recommend guests to have an All-wheel drive/4x4 vehicle, or at least equip their vehicles with winter tires to ensure safe travel during the winter months and early spring.

About the experience
This home is best suited for guests who value a quiet, well-cared-for stay and appreciate the realities of rural Vermont living. We host hands-on and maintain the property year-round — through snowstorms, cold snaps, and changing seasons — to ensure a safe, comfortable, and reliable experience.

Our nightly rate reflects that level of care, attention, and stewardship, rather than a high-volume or minimalist approach. If you’re looking for a thoughtfully maintained retreat where the details matter, this is likely a great fit.

A GUEST RENTAL CONTRACT must be e-signed and returned by email as soon as possible. The agreement signer and credit card holder must be AGED 25+ and present during the entire stay.

Please note: while the home can accommodate up to 10 guests, we are selective with large-group bookings and do not host bachelorette, bachelor, or party-style trips.

When sending a booking request please tell us a bit about your group and the purpose of your trip.

A guest who fails or refuses to return the rental agreement 24 hours prior to their check-in date will be canceled. Reservations are taken on a first come/first serve basis.

Before booking, please read the rental agreement in full over in the house rules before booking. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message us.

Internet & WiFi
Our home is equipped with Starlink satellite internet, which provides reliable service for remote work, streaming movies, and everyday browsing. However, please keep in mind that this is a rural satellite-based connection. Large groups with multiple high-usage devices may experience slower speeds, especially during peak times. If your group requires consistently high-speed internet across many devices, our home may not be the best fit. That said, for most guests, Starlink offers a great balance of connectivity and the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the surroundings.

Transportation & Local Services
Please note that our area does not have Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, or similar services. A personal or rental vehicle is essential for getting to our home and exploring the local area. Public transportation is also very limited, so guests should plan to drive for groceries, dining, and activities. However, grocery delivery is available from Hannaford and Price Chopper for added convenience. If you’re looking to experience Vermont’s scenic beauty and charming small towns, having your own transportation is a must!
