Ideal for animal and nature lovers.

The space
Location has easy access to four hot springs within a short five miles of the farm, historic train rides, horseback riding, jeeping, hiking, skiing, hot air ballooning, Indian ruins and more. Dogs, cats and mini horses, hummingbirds onsite

Guest access
The Deer Bedroom is being offered for rent. Guests have a private bathroom across from their bedroom with a shower. Shared living area complete with kitchen, grill is available for use on the porch, star gazing and hummingbird shows free.

Other things to note
Special program available to work with the mini horses. Learn to groom them, wash them, walk with them, build their confidence in you as their handler and participate in a visit to a retirement home to see the great interaction between the residents and the mini horses. Neighborhood highlights

360 degree views & very quiet. If you like to walk, you can always borrow a dog or mini horses to accompany you. Clear enough to see the satellites go over at night and an outdoor fire pit complete with wood is provided to keep you warm. Wildlife abounds (fox, deer, elk, etc.) Cats, dogs and mini horses onsite but in a separate living area. Safe neighborhood close to Ouray, Ridgway, Montrose, Silverton and Telluride. Within 5 miles of two beautiful hot springs. Hiking, mountain and ice climbing, boating, jeep and ski right here along with a walk with an adorable mini horse.
