I have always loved entertaining! We bought this home as a retreat for our large family. We wanted someplace that would draw our young adult children and their friends "up North" to spend time with us and have year around outdoor options. Some of my favorite things to do when I am at the lake include early morning paddle boarding (I have 3 you may use when you stay with us), kayaking down the nearby Clam River, hiking with girlfriends, day trips to Traverse City, late night bonfires and reading on the deck. In the winter, we snowmobile, downhill and cross country ski. I keep a list of nearby restaurants, farmer's markets, local activities and events updated for guests.
