Eastburn Cottage was created from our lovingly converted 200 year old cart shed. On 13 acres of grounds accessed via a 400 metre track, Braeside Farm is tranquil yet a 10-15 minute drive to St Andrews and less than an hour from Edinburgh Airport. Eastburn is a 2 bedroom cottage with a kitchen and living room upstairs and a master bedroom (en suite) and smaller bedroom (with a triple bunk bed), bathroom and WC downstairs. Front door is at the top of the steps in the gable. A car is required.

The space
Six miles from St Andrews and its many golf courses and beaches along with Crail, Elie, Anstruther and a number of other fishing villages you are well placed for golfing, surfing, walking, running and road biking with breath taking beaches and cycling routes. Look up Braeside Farm Holiday Cottages on Google for further information. Public transport is limited so having a car is required to get the most out of your stay.

Washing and drying facilities together with storage for golf clubs, bikes, surf boards etc and a larger fridge/freezer for those longer stays in an adjoining building.

Other things to note
For bigger parties you may wish to rent the adjoining studio cottage (Braeview) which sleeps 2 people.

Neighborhood highlights

We are 400 metres away from the B941 via a track. Peat Inn village is a 10 to 15 minute drive from St Andrews and home to the acclaimed and Michelin starred Peat Inn Restaurant. Other than that it's gorgeous East Neuk countryside fringed by St Andrews, super little fishing villages and beaches. And our famous microclimate where it never rains, except sometimes.... :)

We settled just outside St Andrews in 2012 after work brought the family here. We refurbished and moved into Braeside Farm in 2014 and converted the derelict cartsheds into Eastburn and Braeview Cottages during 2017. We and and our three little [but growing] boys adore the tranquillity and beauty of the farm and the local area and the wonderful community spirit.
