My friend and I were in Dublin for a very brief time as we had a 15 hour layover before our next flight. We both wish we could have extended our stay!
Robyn was beyond accommodating and incredibly warm and welcoming. It almost felt as if we had known her for longer than we had. She went out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant stay - both in her home and in the surrounding city. She even provided us with bus fare!
Her place is gorgeous and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. We had a great night sleep - better than any night from our previous week of vacationing. It was a quick and inexpensive 15-20 minute taxi ride to Dublin airport as well.
We both HIGHLY recommend Robyn and her Glasnevin haven.
From the moment we stepped foot in Robyn's AirBNB we were made to feel right at home. Not only was the space even better than we had imagined, it came complete with an outdoor garden that we couldn't get enough of! Robyn herself was more than welcoming, she went out of her way - left us snacks for our late arrival, and kept coffee/tea/snacks at our disposal! We couldn't have asked for a better host. She made sure that we had all we needed, and still made us feel like we had our own privacy. Although the space isn't centrally located, you wouldn't be able to tell because the bus stop is right outside her house and takes you to the city centre in no time. There really isn't anything negative I can say - I just know that our next experience will have a lot to live up to! Thanks again Robyn, your hospitality was greatly appreciated!
This garden oasis in the city is in a really nice neighborhood, near Dublin airport. The room was large and modern with a patio overlooking the garden, so quiet. Great pub for dining only a 5 minute walk (the Autobahn). We appreciated Robyn being readily available by messaging, and enjoyed meeting her, although only briefly. Don't hesitate to stay in this one, you will love it!
Robyn is not only accommodating, but so very kind! You can tell she really loves hosting. I felt right at home with her warm welcome. The room looks exactly like the photos, if not better. The private entrance includes a private utility area with silverware/bowls/plates, french press, coffee, tea and a refrigerator refilled daily with the basics.
Robyn is so easy to talk to, but if you prefer a more private stay, she will leave you be unless you need her. There is takeaway 5mins walk from the house and a 20 minute walk to DCU. The bus stop to city centre is a few houses down; there is also a beautiful park within walking distance in the opposite direction. The garden area is large and relaxing (weather permitting of course).
Robyn's communication before I arrived was efficient so I had no problem finding the place or letting myself in. Highly recommended!
Bardzo przyjemne, estetyczne, jasne mieszkanie z zapewnioną prywatnością. Ale też bardzo serdeczna, troskliwa Gospodyni służąca wskazówkami i wręcz dobrym, przyjaznym słowem i gestem. Piękny ogródek. Spokój i cisza, pełny relaks. Brak mi słów by opisać, jak wygodne łóżko :) Bardzo dobra lokalizacja - spokojna okolica i prosty dojazd do miasta. Miejsce, które zdecydowanie polecam i do którego wrócę, jeśli tylko będę miała taką możliwość.
Dziękuję i pozdrawiam
Enjoyed our one night stay. Was very clean and bright. Loved the big sliding glass doors and back yard. Close to DUB airport. Easy travel to temple bar area. Robyn was the perfect host. Thanks so much.
One word: Fantastic. We had a great time staying at Robyn's place. She is an amazing host. Welcoming us with a nice cup of tea/coffee, giving us great advices for dinner, pubs, irish music/dance, visits. The room is just perfect, you don't need more. A large room with a comfortable bed, nice view on the garden (tourist guides etc.. also available) nice bathroom, a nice corner with coffee, tea, sweets, and breakfast in the morning too and definitely quiet eventhough in the city's suburbs. The transportation to the city is very easy with public bus line 9, running frequently to O'Connell or downtown and back. We had nice chats with Robyn and can only recommend her. We will definitely come back when visiting Dublin again.
