Fun remodeled real beach house with great big shell yard, massive palm trees and Tiki Hut. Great for parties, or family beach vacation. Not upscale but for easy going families who want a great value steps to the beach. Very tropical and unique Gulf Coast Getaway. Great value where you can sleep six people for less than the price of a hotel room. Beach side of the street with no streets to cross. King Bed, Quality Sofabed, Bunk Beds. Total beds with sofa bed is 4 beds

The space
Very comfortable 1925 beach house with king size bed in private master bedroom with big LCD TV living room has sofa bed hardwood floors LCD TV with spectrum cable channels walk-in kitchen bright and airy.

The authentic tiki hut overlooks Mandalay Ave where you will see tourist, bikini clad skate boarders, and all the fun fare of this vibrant beach town. Never a dull moment at the Tiki Cottage. There is a wood deck in the front yard with comfortable Adarondak chairs.


It is not an upscale fancy rental, but remodeled clean, up to date, comfy Old School beach house.

Perfect for family with children and pets.


The Tiki Cottage may not be suitable for guests who want quiet, upscale, five star resort, and sometimes we cannot meet the expectations of very fussy folks so read all the reviews .

This house is perfect for pets with 30 inch high wall The pet fee is $100 per stay and if you cannot compute on this internet site we will invoice you at check in.
Capt Al s legendary boat trips now require $300 to cover gas expense You can give the TIP upon departure for excellent service.



That should last for a half day adventure. The boat is a 2021 26 foot Cobalt with bimini top . Fast comfortable luxury runabout. Weather, time factor and maybe all the stars line up for a trip.

You are renting an entire house with private front yard, with a 3 foot high block wall to keep kids and pets in. Has massive palm trees and tropical gardens.

Your back door leads to the recreation area of Clearwater Cottages which offers wood deck, tin roof gazebo. Key West style backyard, hot tub when available and by reservation. Free use of managers coolers, beach chairs and fishing poles. The back yard or recreation area is a fun, funky, Key West style property with massive tropical trees, and is not a manicured property. Capt Al likes to decorate with old boat parts, anchors, fishing poles , and Old Florida items, so not for picky fussy perfectionists, perfect if you love that Old Florida Feeling

Other things to note
We accept all size dogs and with the 3 foot fence around the property this is the perfect pet friendly property The fee is a very reasonable $100 per stay not day Please add pet fee.

Young Guests
We welcome young guests 18 years old and up to enjoy our beach cottages. You must be responsible and not party all night and disturb other guests. Young guests may not invite anyone over. The property manager does a nightly inspection.

Our recreation facilities are for guests only and you may not invite friends over to use our hot tub

We no longer offer free bicycles due to high cost of insurance.

Originally from New Jersey, I have enjoyed my youth at the Jersey Shore. Now I am fortunate to live the dream in Clearwater Beach. I enjoy taking my guests out on my boat and showing them how to enjoy the Salt Life. Living at the beach, I enjoy swimming in warm water all summer, enjoy socializing with my congenial like minded neighbors, and enjoy the fresh food and beach style ambiance at the resturants on this wonderful island. In the past, I have been l a licensed Doctor more than 40 years, now retired, and in my second career. During my younger years I have traveled all around the world dozens of time, enjoying scuba diving from Caymans to Bali, dozens of jungle trecks in South America and through Costa RIca. Appreciate the art and history, I have been to most European Countries. After so much travel , I have found the best of everything is right here in my own backyard. I have managed Clearwater Cottages for more than 10 years, and enjoy showing my guests how to enjoy the Salt Life. I enjoy meeting guests from all around our great country and all around the world. Karen, my first mate is from San Francisco and heads the house keeping team. We both enjoy showing our guests how to enjoy the Salt Life
