Hart B Hunting Lodge is a historic oasis nestled alongside 200+year old cottonwoods in the Blackwater Draw of Eastern New Mexico. Our guests have commented "you can almost hear the walls talk". It features 18-in adobe walls, crooked wooden door frames and authentic historical significance traced back to Billy the Kid.
The space
Hart B Hunting lodge lies on a 17,000 acre working cattle ranch. The Tules, located on the property, are historic spring fed salt bottom lakes that provided a major hunting ground for the Indian tribes in Eastern New Mexico. Many arrowheads have been discovered in and around the Tules. Our rate includes three bedrooms w/ access to the kitchen, game room, living room and two bathrooms. We also have 4 separate bedroom/one bath options at the ranch headquarters if you need additional sleeping arrangements for an additional charge of $75 per room. These extra accommodations will only be offered in connection with the Hart B Hunting Lodge rental.

Other things to note
Mares and colts will be running freely around the home complex which includes the Hart B Hunting Lodge. Watch where you step! We do have dog pens that can be accessed. There is no television at the lodge; however, we have recently installed fiber optic wifi for our guests convenience. This is a rustic setting and our guests have enjoyed "getting away" from the 21st century distractions.

Neighborhood highlights
Secluded --except for hosts and groundskeeper and family. You must drive 5 miles off the highway to reach the lodge on a county-maintained caliche road. On your drive to the ranch you will pass through the Buffalo Sand plant. Once you pass the gate on the West of the plant, you will proceed 2 miles into our secluded ranch setting.
