Enjoy tranquility in a quaint guest cottage with a waterfall and stream running into a Koi pond. This guest house has a kitchen, bathroom, loft bedroom, pull-out couch, TV, and WiFi. Relax on the back patio, sit by the fire pit, or read a book in the seats surrounded by the stream. ~450 sq ft studio with loft bedroom. The guest cottage sits behind the main house and is away from the street.

Electric scooters and bicycles are add-ons.

The space
A cozy converted barn in a quiet neighborhood, this cottage is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The space is light and bright and very inviting.

Guest access
The main house is off-limits, but the guests are welcome to be in the backyard of the guest cottage and enjoy the seating area around the pond.

Other things to note
Lucky the dog protects the property and is known to play catch with guests. We have a fence to the yard with a gate that we keep closed to keep Lucky in. He is not dog-friendly so animals of all kinds are strictly forbidden.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a unique neighborhood with horses walking by on the street and lots of people walking dogs. Properties are larger than most neighborhoods in the area. We are long walk to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts plaza and have very quick access to major freeways. It's a great jumping off point for a trip to Southern California - 30 minutes to Pt Dume Malibu, 45-60 to downtown Los Angeles, 30-40 to Ventura, 60 to Santa Barbara. So much to do in every direction. Of course, you can stay local and enjoy The Reagan Library, Hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, A Day at Underwood Farm or a stroll through "The Gardens of the World."
