There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the area, Brooklyn has become a center for good food and entertainment.
We are minutes away of attractions such as BAM Opera and Theater, Barclays Center, the renown Brooklyn Flea, the Brooklyn Museum and the Botanic gardens. Our home is located near Fort Greene, Dumbo and Williamsburg.

Was a week full of joy in this great house. The owners are just too sweet
Defenetly will use them again and again when ever my parenets are coming from out of town
Thank you guys!
I want to say thank you to Alex and Lorelei because they both played a part in contributing to making my first New York experience unforgettable. I felt very comfortable being with them. The house is great and also reflects a little bit of their live-style: creative, open-minded, elegant and unconventional. With best wishes from Germany, Kathrin
A very good adres; nice people, a private bathroom and a lovely house. The room is full of lp’s with music we also like, with books that we recognized as could be ours, with a clean white bed (and the matras not to soft…). So it went out to be a very good match. We liked to stay in the Brooklyn neighborhood were Alex en Lorelei have there home. It is in fact a perfect place to stay.

Lorelei and Alex were splendid hosts! Their home is lovely, and conveniently located. And Elvis the cat is the best! Thank you again, Lorelei and Alex! I will definitely return if my travels take me back to Brooklyn.
Alex and Lorelei are very interesting and hospitable hosts, and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room itself is very spacious and clean, and there was plenty of privacy as we had the use of the entire upper floor of their townhouse. They provided us with plenty of great recommendations for local restaurants, bars and attractions worth visiting. Their cat Elvis is also very friendly! We would definitely recommend them to fellow travellers, and we would consider staying there again if we visit New York!
My room was spacious and comfortable, there was much interesting reading material, and both Alex and Lorelei were gracious hosts. The house rules were explained simply and politely, and the atmosphere was unaffectedly friendly, made even more so by the presence of an appealing male cat. I only wish I had had more time to investigate Alex's and Lorelei's art work.
Eva and I had a great time in this relaxed Brooklyn home! Alex and Lorelei gave us all kinds of good advices about things to check, to do and not to do in New York. We had great time, also because we could use their bikes! For those who dont know: Go biking in NY, its amazing! And Elvis the house cat is also very adorable...
We had a lovely stay with Lorelei and Alex. Their home is really neat and comfortable and easy to access. Alex and Lorelei were perfect hosts, providing us with all that we needed and more, I would definitely go back!
It was a pleasure to stay at Lorelei and Alex place. Since Lorelei were out for traveling I (or we) had Alex for ourselves. Alex is a very warm and welcoming character, with lot of personality, which influenced our stay in NY in a positive way.
We really loved to stay in this area of Brooklyn/Clinton Hill. While you are there you feel and see the story of the hood, and if you are lucky, you will get the story of the build-up of the house.
I can definitely recommend staying here.
