Clinton Hill is the typical Brooklyn neighborhood where Victorian Mansions and small townhouses mix with industrial factory loft buildings and artists' studios.
Neighbors are very friendly, don't be surprised if a stranger says "good morning" as you stroll by on your way to the subway.
There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the area, Brooklyn has become a center for good food and entertainment.
We are minutes away of attractions such as BAM Opera and Theater, Barclays Center, the renown Brooklyn Flea, the Brooklyn Museum and the Botanic gardens. Our home is located near Fort Greene, Dumbo and Williamsburg.
Subways and buses are close by. It takes approximately 15 minutes from here to Downtown Manhattan.
Bike Share stations are all over the place, there is one just in front of the house.
Other Things to Note
Our cat's name is Elvis, he is a very gentle pet. You may choose to interact with him or he will also be happy if he is left alone.

There is a shoe off policy in most of the house. Although we are fabulous cooks, no meals are provided. Visitors other than registered guests are not permitted unless arranged in advanced.
What a sanctuary to return to after a day of walking and looking and eating and listening !!! I loved the light filled room, the comfy bed and all of the art. Alex and Lorelei were genuine and supportive and never intrusive. I felt welcome in their home. I loved the location and found it easy to travel within Brooklyn and to the city. Highly recommended.
We had a great time in Alex & Lorelei's beautiful Brooklyn home.
The room was very well equipped and we were very pleasantly surprised by how large a space we had to ourselves. The house is gorgeous and the position was perfect as we had friends nearby in Brooklyn. Very easy to get around and to Manhattan, and the perfect spot for exploring parts of Brooklyn.
We were so thankful for Alex and Lorelei's great tips and kindness during our stay. Thank you! Highly recommended :)
We really enjoyed our stay at Lorelei and Alex. They were able to accomodate us from the beginning by first letting us book the room last minute and letting us arrive before the check-in time. We always had quick answers to our emails prior to our arrival and Alex even offered his help to guide us on the way to the location. The place is nice and clean, also really close to the subway !
I appreciated the comfort of having our own bathroom and fridge, Lorelei and Alex were also very thoughtful by putting cold water in the fridge for us.
They are great hosts letting us have our own privacy but also very available for questions or chats. They gave us good recommendations about the neighboorhood and restaurants.
I would highly recommend the place.
We really enjoyed our stay in this house.
It was very comfortable, spacious, homely and clean as shown in
Lorelei and Alex are excellent hosts, very friendly, helpful and warm-
hearted. They gave us many useful information concerning the close surrounding and visits in New York (which you not receive as a tourist).
Subway, busstop, nice restaurants and cafes and a supermarket are not fare away (5-10 minutes walk) It's a nice and quiet area.
I would highly recommend this place ! Lorelei and Alex , thanks for the fantastic time !
About the Host, Lorelei & Alex
My husband and I are considered by all of our friends to be amazing hosts. We are a mix of nationalities: Alex was born in Buenos Aires and I am a native New Yorker, we met in Jerusalem where we lived for a large portion of our lives. We work together as artists. We love our Brooklyn home and practically did all the work on it. Alex and I are devoted to art and to our community, we created a number of art murals around the neighborhood. Among our favorite activities: hanging out with people, cooking good and healthy meals, we are avid readers and enjoy quality cinema rather than TV. When looking back at past travelling experiences the most memorable ones are those in which we engaged with local people and became temporarily rooted in the place we visited. This is the feeling we would like to give you when staying at our home.
