The charming Periwinkle cottage overlooks ocean, great views of sunsets, whales, eagles, seals/boats pass by.2021 Major reno w/ enlarged cottage, new kitchen, bathroom, large deck, loft area added. The screened porch leads to large open deck. Chairs overlooks the water with a small firepit. Cottage sleeps 6 with loveseat in LR making a twin bed. Loft has small bed for kids

You are located one mile from the famous East Quoddy Head Harbour Lighthouse where at lowtide you can walk on the ocean floor to go over to the island the lighthouse is located on. You are also just 1/2 mile from a working fishermans wharf. Small grocery near by for renting dvd's and larger grocery on the island. Pier restaurant,Golf course restaurant nearby, 9 hole golf course, and the Roosevelts Prince cafe is open for breakfast and lunch.

Limited satelite tv. Telephone at the cottage. We allow well behaved pets with a 75 dollar fee.

MAJOR CHANGES TO THE AMAZING PERIWINKLE COTTAGE INCLUDE IN 2023 A NEW MASTER BEDROOM OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN WITH SLIDING PATIO DOOR TO THE OUTSIDE DECK AND DOOR TO SCREENED IN ROOM. THESE CHANGES INCLUDE ENLARGING THE LIVING AREAS OF THE COTTAGE AND HAVING 3 BEDROOMS WITH THE LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM LOOKING OUT OVER THE OCEAN. A NEW KITCHEN AND BATH WITH TILED TUB AND SHOWER. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WALK OUT A FRENCH DOOR ONTO A DECK THAT WILL LEAD TO THE SCREENED IN PORCH AND OPEN DECK OVERLOOKING THE WATER. THE CHARM WILL REMAIN WITH LOTS OF LOCAL HISTORICAL ITEMS IN THE COTTAGE. This is completed and we have posted new photos.
