This private retreat is sited on the oceanfront with a spectacular panoramic ocean view, facing the famous "Entrance Island Lighthouse".
Gabriola's iconic sunset beach (also famous for storm or whale watching) is just next door - LITERALLY it's on your doorstep! Direct private beach access from your front yard.

The space
Self-contained oceanfront house with a spectacular view of the beautiful Georgia Strait and coastal mountains. It is on its own sunny & bright half-acre waterfront property facing "Entrance Island Lighthouse".
The open floor plan is designed for entertaining and included a full kitchen and bathroom with a washer and dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed with antique furniture and the living room has a sofa bed. Watch the sunset from your deck and view all kinds of marine wildlife including whales, seals, and sea lions from the front yard. The sunrise is also right from your front yard or from the living room.
Gabriola's most beautiful beach is just next door, perfect for an afternoon swim or post-dinner stroll.

Guest access
The cottage is on its own separate half-acre lot (21,000 sq ft size) with its own front yard to the sandstone beach access from the front yard.
The host's house is on the neighbouring lot.
There is no fence between the two lots.

The cottage itself is clean, comfortable, and rustic — a simple countryside-style retreat. If you’re looking for a modern, high-end, city-style home, this may not be the right fit.

But if you value natural beauty and a peaceful setting by the sea, you’ll feel right at home. From the yard, you can often spot seals, sea lions, otters, eagles — and occasionally even whales or dolphins. Wake up to birdsong, and fall asleep to the sound of waves on a stormy night, just outside your bedroom window.

Berry Point area is the most desirable place to live and visit in Gabriola. When you visit here you definitely will understand the reason.
Although Gabriola's most famous beach is sitting just a stone's throw away from us this neighborhood has an incredibly peaceful setting as we are at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. You can be an excited tourist and a minute later you find yourself tucked away from all of that and enjoy your quiet time.
And it is not only one of the most beautiful area in Gabriola but also it's in convenient location. Walking distance to local pub & restaurant, 5 minutes from Twin Beaches Mall and Haven resort and less than 10 minutes from ferry terminal and Gabriola's downtown core for shopping and dining.
