Enjoy the tranquility of Nature and easy access to the fun of the Columbia River Gorge in our cozy, rustic yurt. Located in the hills outside Mosier, OR, we offer an alternative to camping: Glamping. If you are not excited to experience using an outside john and shower, keeping the wood stove stoked or living among the creatures of the forest, this may not be your style of adventure ;) Check in is 5pm, but open to flexible scheduling if possible. Come enjoy some fresh air and fun in the Gorge!

The space
The yurt is located about 100 feet from my house. Parking is in my drive, then walk behind my house to the yurt. 24 foot yurt in private location in scrub oak/ evergreen forest.

Guest access
Guests have access to private outdoor toilet and dual shower head outdoor shower. Private deck with adequate lighting at night. Headlamps available for guests in yurt.

Other things to note
Please be aware that staying in the yurt is like glorified camping, known as glamping. Shower and toilet are outside, a spectacular experience if you're into it. Otherwise, may not be your style ;)
Also, there is a french press for your use.

I am a certified language teacher and speak Spanish and French fluently and some Italian and Portuguese. I have been a foreign exchange student and welcome guests from abroad as well as from the states. I enjoy living in the Gorge and take advantage of the fun adventures happening year round.
