The Ralph Lauren 2026 Spring campaign was photographed at our log cabin in the woods—and once you arrive, you’ll see why. No neighbors, no traffic noise, no boundaries—just wide-open, undisturbed nature.
“El Rancho Cantina” sits on 440 private acres along a seasonal arm of Lake Nacimiento, offering serene rustic charm with upscale comforts. Hike for miles, unwind under the stars, and truly disconnect. Both Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio marinas are just a scenic 10–15 minute drive away.
The space
Crafted by the crew from Timber Kings, this luxe, hand-hewn log cabin blends bold western style with modern comfort. The 1,000 sq. ft. main cabin features massive beams, a lofted king bedroom, full bath, heat & A/C, WiFi, and HDTV. Perched atop a hill, it offers sweeping pastoral, mountain, and seasonal lake views.
Two small bachelor-style “hunter huts” (no water, bath, or kitchen) sit nearby—fun for kids to explore, but not intended as sleeping quarters.
While there’s a queen pullout sofa, the space is most comfortable for one couple. Additional guests are welcome, but we like to set expectations upfront.
Outdoor speakers let you enjoy music with nothing but rolling hills and wildlife as your audience. Explore hiking trails, a raised aisle barn, and endless open space. Both Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio marinas are just a scenic 10–15 minute drive away.
Pets welcome! Up to two pets allowed with a $100 non-refundable fee, paid prior to arrival. Unpaid pet fees may result in cancellation.
A note about country living: This is a true rural property surrounded by thousands of acres of natural habitat. Our home is professionally cleaned and meticulously maintained. However, wildlife—including the occasional field mouse—exists here. We use traps but do not use poison to protect local hawks and eagles. Booking acknowledges and accepts the realities of a countryside stay.
Note: No garbage services due to the remote location. Drop off locations will be in your checkout instructions.
Guest access
Entire 440 acres ranch . No barn access. No Hunting.
Other things to note
Ranch Wifi internet is ok, not the fastest but you'll get by!
AT&T signals works best but can still be somewhat sketchy. Lots of small critters , squirrel, raccoons, mice, woodpeckers, & the occasional wild boar and/or Coyote sighing.
