Located on a beautiful 1,000 acre ranch, Tumbleweed Hotel is a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. An enclosed sun porch is perfect for relaxing with a good book or a competitive board game. Comfortable furnishings, queen beds in all 3 bedrooms, and a spectacular view of the rolling hills and olive orchard.

Family friendly ranch with hiking trails, tennis/basketball courts, Game Room (air hockey, foosball, pool table), farm animals, wi-fi available in our Game Room and only 10 miles to Pinnacles!

TV/DVD player in living room. Wide selection of DVDs is available in our Game Room - feel free to select a few for viewing in the privacy of your guesthouse.

We are open seasonally April-October. Tumbleweed Hotel sleeps 6 people with a charming kitchen, dining area and living room. All 3 bedrooms have queen sized beds with 2 full bathrooms.

Ranch amenities include high speed internet available in our Game Room, tennis and basketball courts, ping pong; game room that contains arcade games, pool table, foosball, air hockey, dollhouse etc...Visit our ranch animals. animals and take a hike to the top of our hill with beautiful vistas along the way, capped off by the view of the entire ranch as you reach the top. There is a deck with comfortable furniture as you sit and take it all in, experiencing the varied sounds of nature. Visit Pinnacles National Park only 10 miles down the scenic, country road.

Guest access
Guests will have access to our tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, barbecue pit; game room has a pool table/air hockey/foosball and hiking trails in the hills. There's a great walking/running loop around the flat part of the property with beautiful views. We have a Farm Stand on site, featuring our award winning olive oil and other ranch related products. Other things to note
Important - Verizon and AT&T are currently the only cell service that works here at the ranch. Please let us know if you do not have Verizon or AT&T and we will make arrangements to give you access to a landline so that you can make and receive calls.

Note: There is NO Wi-Fi or television programming available in the individual guesthouses.

It's also important to note that we are located 20 miles from the nearest full service grocery store. We suggest that you purchase your groceries prior to arriving; Hollister has several grocery stores if you are passing through. The nearest eateries are 15 miles from us in Tres Pinos - there's a popular steakhouse called The 19th Hole, Tres Pinos Inn (an upscale restaurant) and Flapjacks, a good breakfast/lunch spot (limited hours - open 7:00 AM-2:00 PM; call to confirm). Nearest gasoline is also in Tres Pinos (15 miles from ranch).

Neighborhood highlights

We love the peace and serenity of being tucked away from close neighbors, traffic as well as the hustle and bustle of town life. However, we do have movie theaters and many hot spots in Hollister, just 19 miles North, for those of you that would like to check it out. And only 10 miles to the South of our ranch is Pinnacles National Park, definitely worth a visit!

We are two busy physicians that purchased this 1000+ acre ranch in 1991 as a tranquil getaway for ourselves and two sons, Dustin and Ian. We enjoy all that country life has to offer; our various domestic animals including horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, peafowl, cats, and 2 busy ranch dogs, as well as breathtaking views, wildlife sightings, native plants and the ability to do as much or as little as desired. We have tennis and basketball courts, ping pong, a two story bunkhouse that also houses a pool table, air hockey, large screen TV with a vast collection of DVDs. We offer numerous comfortably charming guest cottages/houses, Several years ago we planted over 1250 Mission organic olive trees which produce our award winning extra virgin olive oil. We have traveled all over the world and love meeting new people from all cultures. Come and experience our beautiful getaway in Paicines, California.
