Le Petit Chateau is one of two treehouses for rent in Candlelight Forest, a Simpler Times resort 18 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Le Petit Chateau sleeps 6 and has a deck featuring our signature Canopy Kitchette for a unique outdoor grilling experience. The treehouse is beautifully decorated in the french farmhouse style. The Candlelight Forest is central to all the famous Chattanooga attractions, in addition to offering fishing and canoeing on our own Lake Angela. Perched in a beautiful tree canopy, Le Petit Chateau is built upon a sloping ridge which provides for very safe and easy access, as the entrance is at ground level. Its charming decor is inspired by old farmhouses of the French countryside. Upon arrival, a short stroll through the woods (and after dark, under near-magical hanging moon lights) brings you to the front door of your home away from home. A queen bed nook with privacy curtain, an open living area, a full bath, a back porch, and many thoughtful nooks and crannies adorned with decorator surprises provide the downstairs living experience. Up a two-tiered loft ladder, 4 twin beds and a cute half bath await the more adventurous up above. Our own signature Canopy Kitchenette (TM) rounds out the experience. The back porch has a very simple kitchen that includes a stainless wash sink, concrete countertop, toaster, and a gas grill with side burner, all elegantly covered in the shade of an oversized umbrella. Dine upon the custom built-in fold-down table and antique wooden chairs. Television celebrity host Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters also built a lovely recreational treehouse inside Candlelight Forest for you to enjoy. Guests have full access to their private Treehouse and all of Candlelight Forest, close to 200 acres of preserve including two small mountain lakes, a creek and many trails and amenities.
