Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Our Tiny house is a place to retreat from the hussle and bustle of your busy life. It's a place to relax, read, reflect, rest and reset. You may enjoy nature, walk the trails, enjoy a fire in the fire ring and have a cookout. We hope you enjoy all that the woods has to offer.

We provide wine, crackers, and cheese, chocolates , popcorn, breakfast bars, water, juice, coke and coffee pods (Keurig).

The tiny house is a cozy and comfortable space where you will enjoy complete privacy.

The space
We have a long driveway that goes back to the woods for a very secluded, wooded, nature friendly place to unwind. There is a fire ring to enjoy a campfire and a cookout. We supply the wood and the kindling that you will need for your fire.

The kitchen is equipped with most things you will need. There are some spices and some olive oil in the TinyHouse. Let me know if you will need other staples and I will provide them.

Because the TinyHouse is small, cooking bacon is not recommended. If you expect to enjoy bacon you may want to bring the already cooked packaged bacon.

I supply microwave popcorn, a bottle of wine, juice, water and snacks.

There is a Keurig coffee maker and a supply of coffee and hot drink pods.

The TV has many channels for your enjoyment. You may stream your favorite channels however you will need to sign into your own personal streaming channels

We have recently replaced the mattress on the bed and it is very comfortable.

Even though small, You will find the TinyHouse to be very clean and cozy and has everything you might need. And I am on sight so you can let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Other things to note
There are trails to walk in the woods. You can enjoy nature while looking up at the tall trees or walk in the fields and take in the open sky. It's a great way to gain a new perspective on life. You will probably see many deer, squirrels, chipmunks, turkeys and maybe an owl or two.

Hastings is a great small town 7 miles away with great restaurants and shopping to explore. There is also a theater (GQTHastings 4) in Hastings.

Grand Rapids is 30 miles away and has celebrated 10 years as Beer City USA in 2022.

You can get to Lake Michigan in about an hour from our place which is very beautiful in the winter as well as in the summer.

There is a brewery (Waldorfs ) in Hastings and a winery (Glass Creek Winery) in-between Hastings and Middleville.

Neighborhood highlights

Our place is in the country and has a long driveway back to the woods where we live. There are 93 acres to enjoy; with groomed walking trails through meadows and forest. There is a variety of wildlife you can spot, a fire ring with wood and kindling provided, and many places to take your rest and enjoy all the sounds of nature.

My husband, Terry and I, are both retired. We live in the woods in a small cabin that was once a “Sugarhouse” where my dad made maple syrup from sap he collected from the maple trees in the woods. We love being home and enjoying the nature that surrounds us. We also love to travel, meet new people, see new sights and experience new adventures. In 2017 we built a TinyHouse on the back of our garage. It is now part of the Airbnb family and it gives us great pleasure to meet our guests and see them enjoying our little piece of heaven.
