Uniondale Lodge is situated in the 10,000HA Fort Governor's Estate game reserve just outside Grahamstown. The Lodge has been recently re-vamped and provides all the home-away-from-home comforts that you need. It is the ideal getaway for a group of friends or families looking to relax, unwind and spend time in nature.
PLEASE NOTE : Access to all our lodges is via a farm dirt road. We are a working farm so road conditions are variable.

The space
The lodge is fully fenced around the perimeter, however numerous animal species are often seen around the lodge. The main building has two bedrooms, both en-suite as well as two guest bathrooms, a large living room with a wood-burning fire, fully equipped kitchen and large wrap-around veranda that has stacker doors all the way round allowing you to open up the whole house onto the large decked area, or to keep it cosy without losing the view in the cooler months. The stoep has a large dining table that can comfortably seat 10 people, an undercover braai, large L-shaped sofa and a more secluded reading area with comfy armchairs and a selection of books!
The last two bedrooms are just outside the main house and are also en-suite rooms with super-king, extra length beds.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a large deck area, complete with loungers and a braai area and has stunning views out over the reserve.

Access to the lodge is via a dirt road directly off the R67. It is about a 10/15 minute drive from the entrance gate to the Lodge itself, through the reserve
