The space
The room captures the timeless warmth of Tuscany, featuring classic furnishings and a comfortable double bed (160x190). While we can add a single bed upon request, please note it makes the space quite cozy. Though there is no full kitchen, you’ll find a kettle for tea and coffee, and a small fridge for your essentials. The en-suite bathroom includes a shower and bidet. Outside, your private courtyard table is the perfect spot for a glass of Chianti. You are welcome to enjoy the shared pool and the shaded lounge area with deckchairs. Neighborhood highlights

Our house is part of a little medieval residential borgo, so there are other houses around us. It dates back to 1040 and it was a rest place for the pilgrims travelling on the Via Francigena, that is still accessible today, on foot/bicycle/car.
We strongly recommend having a car.
You can enjoy long drives through the Tuscan countryside and picnics in beautiful locations that we can suggest.
The nearest restaurant is just down the road "La Speranza", it's very traditional Italian cooking where mostly locals go, two minutes further you can find a pizzeria "Locanda del Molino 17" if you prefer to have a pizza.
Just on the opposite hill there is a 5 star hotel "Il Castello di Casole" where there is a restaurant and bar for drinks that we recommend visiting even just for the amazing view! In the town of Casole d'Elsa (6 km) there are many restaurants that you can choose from, and also in Colle di Val d'Elsa. We have a list of further recommendations that we will leave in the room at your disposition or more update on line available after booking.
