Our house is ideally located to enjoy downtown Saluda and the surrounding areas. Walking the streets of Saluda, where you'll see interesting houses and beautiful gardens, is a treat in itself! Many shops, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs are within easy walking distance. Nearby activities are: hiking, white water rafting, cycling, waterfalls, fishing, kayaking, ziplining, equestrian events, winery tours, antiquing, apple picking, Biltmore House, Carl Sandburg Home, Blue Ridge Parkway and more. Walk to McCreery Park, which has a children's playground and picnic area.

My husband and I fell in love with Saluda in the 1980s and bought “Saluda on my Mind” as a vacation home with other family members in 1991. I have since looked around Saluda for a house of my own to buy, but ultimately couldn’t find a house or a location that I loved more than “Saluda on my Mind.” Circumstances worked out that we were able to buy the house outright in 2017. We love it here! I've always lived in the suburbs, so it's such a treat to be able walk to everything in Saluda. A bonus: the people here are extremely friendly. I can't think of a more perfect vacation spot.
