Guests return year after year, with several booking five or more times for the peace and privacy
Cabin and/or camper spot, with 30 amp electric & hydrant water. Cabin has 1 full bed, bunk beds (max 4, bring your own linens, firm mattresses) equipped with AC/heat & mini fridge. Indiana's best keep secret - The Love Shack - nestled down a long lane in between 2 fields in rural Economy Indiana with pond & 3 acres to yourself. Started by my grandpa Tom Bond in 2000 and loved by all that visit. Follow us on social media. 2.5 miles to Cardinal greenway.

The space
Cabin - sleeps 4 - with AC/Heat, coffee pot & Mini Fridge and hydrant water outside. Pets allowed ($15 fee) but can not be left unattended on property and all waste disposed of in field/pond. Cabin AND/OR camp spot with 30 amp electric/hydrant water. (Water available March-Oct 31 - weather permitting) If you're interested in using cabin AND 30 amp service for a camper, contact us before booking. Additional $50 per night fee applies for both. 50 ft extension for campers also included for your use. Lights by "Love Shack" are solar and not guaranteed to work.
There are covered areas you can take shelter under in case of poor weather.
Bathroom consists of "outhouse." TP provided.
No WiFi. Fish CATCH & RELEASE only!!!!
Surveillance is now in place to aid in the prosecution situations.
Two picnic tables are included, 1 plastic serving table and 6 chairs to sit in.
One campfire ring (please do not burn trash/cig butts in rings) with grate to cook on.
Firewood $6 per bundle paypable on Ven mo or cash. Do not cut any of my trees down or go foraging - backside of pond is a wetland and private & protected property.
Several docks around the pond to fish from - use at your own risk.
There are no dedicated "walking trails," but you can walk around the backside of the one pond (we keep it mowed) and wander down the long lane.
No official "cooking area" - bring a grill, cooking stove or cook over the fire. Please do not cook under any roof, near cabin or on plastic table.
Please pack all your trash out. We don't have trash pick up here. All dog/animals feces can be flung in the field/tall grass!
Lots of big catfish, bass & bluegill - see our F B page for videos of the fish being fed! If you're done fishing for the night or don't fish, bags of fish food are available for $1! It's fun to watch them! All food is stored in containers in shack. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. Also like hot dogs.

You understand that swimming, camping, hiking and fishing is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, camping, hiking and fishing. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, camping, hiking or fishing if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, camps, hikes or fishes while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, camping, hiking or fishing. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.

Guest access
You have 3 acres of to yourself.
You can come and go as you please, you'll be sent an access code to unlock padlock on cabin door in case you want to lock in when you leave premises.
House on the curve is rented - please do not disturb the tenants. Do not enter barns. You will be provided with my cell to contact if you need something or have questions.

Other things to note
We may request no fires if conditions are too dry and fields are ready for harvest. PUT YOUR FIRE OUT WHEN YOU LEAVE! ALWAYS! (Bucket provided)

If you smoke, put your butts in the trash! Do NOT leave them on the ground or in fire pit! No smoking under roof or around cabin! DO NOT BURN TRASH IN THE FIRE PIT!

TP in plastic tote in outhouse.

You may see other wildlife on this property. Please don't harm, catch or feed them. Dispose of all food waste in your trash bag and take with you.
