We loved our short stay in Brian & Máiréad's cottage in Westport. Their son, Simon, very graciously met us, helped us check in and told us about live music that was scheduled for that evening at the Sheebeen right down the road. We enjoyed the music that night and dinner there the following night. We were also very grateful for the welcome pack waiting for us at the cottage which included eggs, milk, scones and jam - it was a perfect breakfast to start our day. We had some great nights sleep in the firm bed and enjoyed the spa-like bathroom with rain shower. The place was wonderfully situated on Clew Bay, making for perfect sunset photo opportunities. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we are back in the area!

This is a great place to stay for a couple. I highly recommend it. Brian and Mairead were welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions. The cottage had access to a beautiful garden. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was brilliant for cycling to Westport Quay, Westport and the greenway. Having a good pub/restaurant within walking distance was brilliant.

A very comfortable well eqipped cottage, with plenty of information provided about local attractions and amenities. Mairead and Brian were excellent hosts. A welcome pack of food such as bread, milk, eggs and friut was waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage was within easy driving distance of Westport and within a 20 minute walk of Westport Harbour.

Our stay at the Garden Cottage was lovely! The accommodations were clean and equipped with anything you could possibly need, making for a cozy stay. The three days were full of activity and we were able to walk to nice places for dinner and evening fun. The location of the Garden Cottage was the perfect balance of being secluded and close to the activity. The garden and views were lovely! Mairead was a kind and gracious host. She provided us with a wonderful starter kit of fresh fruit, eggs, milk, butter, and scones. Mairead was a wealth of knowledge of the area, as well as Ireland and she helped us make the most of our trip around Ireland. The Garden Cottage was definitely one of our favorite places that we stayed at during our three week stay.

Super clean and a quick trip to jaw-dropping Connemara! We took leisurely walks to Cronin's Shebeen during the evenings and cooked up rashers and eggs every morning in the small but very workable kitchen. A truly easy place to stay with helpful hosts. Let's just say we needed a handyman one morning and our hosts had him scheduled for us the very same day!

This is a lovely place to stay just outside of Westport centre, with beautiful views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. A great location for exploring the west Atlantic way and very close to Croagh Patrick, which is a must. Mairead was very helpful and welcoming and we found this place to a perfect base for our stay, with a great pub in walking distance!
