The suite is comfortable, cosy and super clean!!
it is s fully enclosed suite. Guests will have it all to themselves. No areas to be shared. not even the parking. Check in it 2 P.M. but you could check with me if you need in earlier. Often we can accommodate.
Interaction with Guests
I try to interact with guest….I like to travel myself so it is hit and miss with me!!
Our neighbourhood is like many…great. Helpful people, kids, and close to everything. There is a small park…..close to the waterfront….everything people on holiday would need.
Most things are with in walking distance. There is a bus service close by and of course, good old taxis. If you have a car, it will be parked right outside your door. Transport from the airport will be by taxi…if I can't pick you up (like if you arrive at midnight or 6 a.m.. or I am out of the city).
it is a quiet building. I ask people to put the garbage out if it is super stinky. Owner does not live in the building. Tenants in other suite are long term and can be relied on for assistance.
I had to click on "one bedroom" but remember, it is a bachelor with a Murphy wall bed!
Pets are an option as long as they are not bigger than the average 4 year old and as long as your are a pooper scooper. Park close by.
No smoking!! Do I really need to say that??
Please be sure to "hook" the outside door when your IN the house and turn the "button" on the outside door when your OUT of the house. Just in case the wind picks up!
Conveniently located in downtown Charlottetown within walking distance of shops, restaurants and attractions, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Photos and description accurately reflect what a guest will experience. Just about everything one may need is already there in the apartment. Hosts offer plenty of visitor/tourist information and tips to help make your stay green and comfortable. The Heritage Home apartment is clean and tidy.
We had a wonderful stay at 227 Richmond Street. The entire process was incredibly simple, and the house contained everything you might need to have a night in or to research what PEI has to offer. The location really cannot be beat. We walked everywhere in Charlottetown.
Louise is extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in town. Thanks so much for your contribution to our lovely trip!
It was our first 2 nights stop at Charlottetown when we were in our trip to Maritime Provinces. The house is old but guest apartment is obviously newly renovated and spotless. While we didn't spend too much time in the house, other than sleeping, it left a great impression on us!
Location is great & close to a lot of amenities
Our stay was absolutely perfect!
My wife and I stayed here for but a brief period of time, but for the time we stayed I can still attest to our positive experience we had. The place itself is beautiful and we'll maintained, with the consciences of home. This said, the home is in an ideal location, steps away from the active core of Charlettown and to the island itself. Louise is also ++/quick with response to inquiries. Much recommended, don't miss this one.
Louise has beautifully restored and furnished a small old house in Charlottetown within walking distance of the harbor and Confederation Mall historical and restaurant area. She was prompt in all email replies to our questions and very accommodating. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to eat a meal in-house.
This place is a must-stay if you're in the area. An absolutely beautiful home. The inside is beautiful and immaculate.
The location couldn't be better. We actually arrived in town a little early so we decided to check out downtown for a bit. When it was time to check in, we realized that the house was actually closer to the restaurants and shops than we were able to park! 2 blocks away from a ton of great, downtown restaurants, and just a 5 minute walk to Confederation Landing.
Louise was very responsive and their guidebook suggestions were great. There is also a ton of visitor guides in the suite which were very helpful.
Louise and Gordon's place was fantastic. It's perfectly located--short walking distance from all kinds of restaurants, bars, and the water front, yet with plenty of space. This was my and my boyfriend's first time in PEI and I am not joking when I say we now plan to move there one day. The place was clean, cozy, and very welcoming, and Louise was very helpful and extremely easy to communicate with. If we travel back to PEI again soon (which we certainly plan to do if at all possible) we would not hesitate to stay here again! Thanks Louise.
