The space
This will be your intimate home-away-from home throughout your stay. We were one of the first Airbnb hosts and still believe in the unique quality of hosting guests in our home.
Step through your private entrance into a living room complete with a 55" flat-screen TV and cozy woodstove. Cuddle into a home-y bedroom, art by local artists warm the walls and outside the window, you will hear the waterfall and a croaking toad in the fish pond (sorry, otherwise it is a very quiet place.)
A homemade breakfast is served upstairs or in the garden on a picnic table next to the fish pond. Tasty fresh jams, salsas ~ wait 'til you see the shelves full of goodies canned from our garden. Like pets? Our 2 small dogs will be waiting to greet you and lead you into the garden with the hovering butte of SAVAGE POINT dominating the landscape. Guests are invited to enjoy the serenity and riches of our large garden/orchard. Kanab has a Dark Sky Ordinance so our night sky is exquisite.

Unpack once and explore the National Parks & surrounding wilderness assisted by our expert information. Enjoy a homemade breakfast with eggs from the chickens next door, veggies & herbs from our garden. Wander the garden/orchard and relax later in the Sauna.

This intimate home-away-from-home offers a cozy and private guest suite with a separate guest entrance, attractive bedroom & full bath with adjoining entertainment room -- including a pull-out sleeper sofa for additional guests and family. A large-screen TV, and the warm wood stove make this a delightful, personal and relaxing space.
It is a Zen-like home, and we are proud to say that our attention to guests has given us a "200%" satisfaction rating from global guests.

We are In-Home Hosts and expect you to respect that. We share our home with you and provide considerable expert advice and even family-style attention. Russell was a Park Ranger for the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, & Laurel is a Writer/Art Historian. Our dogs Shanti & Honey Bear, & their two cohort KITTIES (Dirty-Face Kirby & Jacob) are loving fur-friends who take their jobs as B&B Greeters playfully.
We encourage our visitors to think of this generous B&B as a 4-season destination with endless adventures waiting.

Guest access
Guests have their own private "sous-terre" suite with an entertainment room (cozy woodstove) & access to a lovely garden/orchard with picnic table, ponds and even an authentic Finnish sauna (extra fee for use of sauna). The new Exercise Shed is also available if you want to do some free weights, bench press or stationary-bicycling during your stay.

During your stay
We interact a great deal with our guests, offering expert advice on visiting this region (usually when you book in or over breakfast.) Sometimes I even go rappelling with guests! If you are celebrating a special event, our professional pastry chef is willing to create an unforgettable cake!
