Welcome to the A-Frame Haus, a cozy cabin in Heber City built by our grandpa as a place for solitude. Nestled among red rocks and lush greenery, this serene retreat spans acres and offers incredible views of Mt. Timpanogos. Anytime of year you find yourself here you'll want to stay a little longer. BEDROOMS & SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Each of the three bedrooms features a queen mattress from Casper and linens provided by a professional laundering service. The loft area includes a pull-out sofa bed, with extra linens available upon request.
DEDICATED WORK SPACE:
The upstairs bedroom is equipped with high-speed WiFi connection, a desk, comfortable chair, and a locking door for privacy.
MODERN CONVENIENCES:
A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the downstairs hallway closet. The fully equipped kitchen features a fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. It's stocked with cooking essentials and serve-ware. Additionally, there is a coffee bar with a teapot, and a pour-over coffee maker. We provide ground starbucks coffee, sweetener and creamer. You’ll also find a blender and toaster tucked away.
IDYLLIC NATURE SETTING:
Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on one of the three expansive decks, preparing a meal in the fully stocked kitchen, or working remotely in a serene setting, this cabin offers everything you need for a memorable stay.
WIFI & CELL SERVICE: There is spotty cell service in our area, please enable wifi calling on your phone if you wish to make calls. Our internet service is overall reliable but can cut out on occasion, please be aware of this before booking.
LOCATION: We are located off a main road leading directly to the Uinta Mountain Rage, which makes our place easily accessible and a short drive to downtown Heber. Most of the time it’s peaceful, but it can experience some road noise on busy weekends and holidays.
INSECTS/ETC: We are located in a rural setting and have regularly scheduled pest control services, even so, you may spot the occasional insect or critter. Please be aware that this does not reflect upon the cleanliness of this cabin and take into account how comfortable you are with this before booking.
ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS: Please pardon the areas of landscaping being worked on during Summer 2024 as we continue to improve and add amenities.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home with the exception of the storage closet in the hallway. The property sits on nearly 25 acres of land but much of that is very wooded and un maintainted. We ask that you stay within eyesight of the A-Frame house when on the property.
Other things to note
Included in your cleaning fee is a damage insurance policy by Nationwide Insurance. This policy covers incidental and non-intentional damage to the home during your stay. We understand that accidents happen and we do not want you to stress if something breaks or gets damaged in the course of your stay. All we ask is that you notify us of any issues as soon as possible so we can get them handled quickly and safely.
Upon booking Air BnB will send you a copy of our rental agreement which we will need signed prior to your arrival.
Directions:
Our part of Heber Valley is beautiful, quiet, and remote(ish). We love it, but please be advised you'll get spotty cell service around the A-Frame Haus, and surrounding area, unless you enable wifi calling. Even then we can't promise seamless connection.
We recommend you save or download the details of your trip prior, including important phone numbers, information, house manual, and smart-lock code just in case you find yourself without service.
Getting here from SLC Airport:
If you plan to stock up on groceries, Whole Foods or Smiths in Park City make a nice halfway point, with plenty of nice lunch options nearby as well.
Get on I-80 E from N Terminal Dr, 4 min (2.4 mi)
Continue on I-80 E. Take US-189/US-40 E to E Center St in Heber City. 46 min (47.3 mi)
Drive to E Lake Creek Rd, 11 min (6.6 mi)
Getting here from Provo:
If you plan to stock up on groceries both Natural Grocers and Lee's Marketplace are nearby when you enter the valley.
Head north on N University Ave toward 100 N.5.1 mi
Continue onto US-189 N, 21.8 mi
Continue straight onto E 1200 S, 5.2 mi
Turn left onto S 6360 E/6400 E, 0.1 mi
Turn right onto E Lake Creek Rd, Destination will be on the right 1.1 mi
