Room in a home

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
This master suite tucked away in this late 1920s dream home is the perfect combination of spacious comfort and practical elegance. The king size canopy bed, cozy daybed with trundle, wardrobe, and vanity are a must for the discriminating guest. Features a private bathroom with a "state of the art" vintage shower from the 20s era.

The space
By choosing to stay at the Olivewood Inn, you will experience a shift in place and time, let's say 19th century Italy. Built in the late 1920s, this European dream home features Italian marble floors, an ornate turreted stairway with painted ceiling, and unique "state of the art" bathrooms in each guest room, which are located on the second floor (guests must be able to climb 20 steps).

The lower level is the headquarters of the Tree of Life Cultural Foundation 501 (c-3), and may be rented out for various events, such as: weddings, showers, meetings, book clubs, etc.

Guest access
In addition to their designated room, guests are invited to visit the library/reading room, which is a relaxing sitting room where continental breakfast is provided each morning. Please note, long term rentals may not include breakfast.

During your stay
Host will greet the guests at check-in, and usually stays on the property most of the time, depending on the day. He can always be reached by phone and text.

Other things to note
In addition to the guest rooms, the building is also host to a music store and music lesson space. Students and parents will likely be around during weekday afternoons and early evenings. This should not affect your stay.
