SMALL one-bed studio swith a hide-a-bed (book for three if used). Private entrance & porch. Coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. :Limited Kitchen (one burner stovetop, Ruko & Netflix, WiFi, queen bed with luxurious sheets. , shower. This suite is BEST for a couple or small family due to lack of privacy. NOT for LIGHT sleepers, as you can hear us walking above you. If there are only two of you, but one of you sleeps on the hide - a- bed please BOOK FOR THREE PEOPLE. Children. Tesla charger: $10.

The space
Check-in time is negotiable: usually can be earlier than 3. It is a self-check-in so it's up to you if you meet us or not. This self-contained suite is located in a log home featured in several magazines. The neighbourhood is quiet and a very short drive to the downtown. The bed has cotton 400 thread count sheets, a feather duvet and feather pillows (non-feather bedding is in the closet). Duvet is washed every visit, not once every three weeks as is hotel practice. Fluffy bath sheets, towels and dressing gowns are provided.
Coffee (drip, Bodum, individual bag ) , tea, and hot chocolate. Coffee-mate. Milk on request.
Please note that this is one of those basement suites with a thin floor. We tiptoe around from 9 pm until 630 am but you can hear us. If you are a light sleeper you may not want to book and if you do let us know so we are extra quiet. We cannot hear you though. If you want to sleep past nine message us the night before and we'll tip-toe til your wake-up time.
Please note there is no door in the bedroom so you may not get the privacy you are used to if the couch is used as a bed. We do not charge for children, unless they use the hide a bed, in which case book for three guests. Let us know children are coming and we will put toys out. . Directions for the hide a bed are in the binder.
The bathroom has a shower and is stocked with shampoo, soap, toothbrush and paste, combs, and other toiletries.
The front porch is your space as we enter another way.
No smokers or pets, please. We do have an ashtray on the porch though and are ok with smoking of any kind outside.
If there are only two of you but you want to use the second bed please book for three people.

A three-piece bath, small limited kitchen, Netflix, DVD player, hair dryer, iron and high-speed WiFi.
The kitchen has a microwave, fridge with a freezer, toaster oven, two-burner stove, a drip and a Bodum coffee maker and teapots. Three types of coffee, and many types of tea. Coffee-mate only but milk on request.
The front porch is for guest use.
The two-door closet in the bedroom is off-limits (full of stuff our adult children left; go ahead and look if you want to see your future).

Other things to note
There is a Roku with Netflix . Hair dryer. Extra toothbrush and paste if you forgot yours.
Tesla EV charger available for a $10 extra charge.
We make a point of being quiet from nine pm to 630 am so if you sleep in later than that let us know. And if you're a light sleeper you might want to book elsewhere. We can't hear you but the wooden floor above the bedroom does transmit our footsteps so you can hear us in the morning.
We do not charge a cleaning fee so please leave the suite as clean as you found it. The majority of our guests receive a five-star rating as they do this.

Neighborhood highlights

Quiet neighbourhood. House is on a dead end street in a residential area uphill from the downtown. This is a rural area so coyotes, deer, raccoons and bears do wonder down the street and behind the house, but usually at dawn or dusk. They are no problem as long as you don't approach them.
