You'll love staying here because of the spectacular 360˚ views on a private 15-acre property. You'll have the entire cabin and canyon to yourself with our walking trails to explore. Rock hunters will love the abundance of agate rocks around the property. Conveniently and easily accessible right off of Hwy 89. Our place is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers, families, and is dog friendly. (Note: no A/C).

The space
Our property is OFF-GRID, that means it is not connected to the electrical grid. Power comes from a top of the line energy efficient Honda generator and a 500 gallon propane tank. Please make sure you read our house rules before you book.

Our place has an open floor plan, great for cooking and hanging out in the living room with friends and family. No neighbors, no noise, just have fun and enjoy the peaceful outdoors and wildlife.

Guest access
There are a couple miles of off-road walking trails up into our Rock Canyon property directly accessed from the back yard. Note these trails are not accessible other than through this property, there is no pass through traffic. Bring your dog(s) off leash on our walking trails all around the property. Grab your fishing poles and walk to a secret tunnel that goes under Hwy 89 and go trout fishing in the Sevier river.

Other things to note
We recommend your first night to arrive before nightfall. Hwy 89 is very dark, a lot of guests end up driving past the driveway entrance several times before they find it, it's much easier to find in daylight. Once you know where the cabin is getting here after dark won't be a problem. Our cabin in Rock Canyon is located 3-miles South of the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 12 Utah.

Panguitch, Utah, United States

Hatch (4 miles South) and Panguitch (7 miles North) are the closet towns. Both offer great places to eat and some unique shopping stores. Some of our favorite places to eat in Panguitch are: C-Stop Pizza and Cowboys Smokehouse, and Kenny Ray's. Note many local businesses are closed on Sundays and many restaurants close before 8pm. Major retail stores like Walmart are located in Cedar City about 1 hour away.

# # # USING THE ATV # # #
Our property has several miles of ATV trails. If you are interested in using the ATV shown in the photos, please send us a message ahead of your stay. Please drive it with care as if it was yours. Gasoline is provided, helmets and common sense are not, that's up to you.

Into fishing? Grab your fishing poles and walk to a secret tunnel that goes under Hwy 89 and go trout fishing in the Sevier river. Or, about 7 miles South of our place you can connect to the old Hwy 89 road which will take you to several fishing spots along the Sevier river. Make sure you get a fishing license.

I currently live in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Professionally I'm a software programmer but when I'm off work I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, building things, and going to the movies. I'm into anything sports related and love being outdoors. The thing I miss most about living in Hawaii is skiing and snowboarding in the mountains.
