This is a two bedroom semi-detached house on an organic vineyard. In the southern wing of our farm, the property overlooks the pool and the vines with panoramic views beyond to the Mont Ventoux. There is a large pool and plenty of outside space. The house is well equipped and is ideal for families.

The space
Domaine l'Ancienne Ecole is a vineyard set on the plateaux above the village of Vinsobres.
This recently repainte semi-detached house is in the southern wing of the main building and overlooks Domaine l'Ancienne Ecole's pool, vineyard and neighbouring lavender fields. Le Mont Ventoux has an open-plan ground floor with wood burning stove, a well-equipped kitchen, WC and a spacious terrace. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms (master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second floor bedroom with twin beds) and a large family bathroom.

Where you’ll be

Vinsobres, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Vinsobres is a pretty, historic village with a temple dating from the 12th century perched on a hilltop. There are magnificent views of the village from the road up to the Domaine, including of the Mont Ventoux.

The area has a superb climate and amazing scenery. Anthony Peregrine described it in The Daily Telegraph as “the south we’ve always longed for: of hills, mountains and lost valleys, of olives and vines, of lavender, cicadas and warm scented breezes in the late afternoon”.

I used to be a lawyer, now I own & run a vineyard. We enjoy welcoming guests to our patch of la Drôme Provençale.

During your stay

We live on the farm and are on hand with information about the local area, the vineyard and our wines.
