Walk out of your private front door, a few steps through the private garden, and ten seconds later you can be bathing in the Caribbean! "Sunset" is one of six one- and two-bedroom apartments - recently refurbished for comfort but retaining a unique Barbadian vibe. We are across the road from a supermarket, local take-away, GP and pharmacy, and on a convenient bus route to anywhere you want to go. But basically what you'll fall in love with are the breathtaking views.

The space
The Moorings is a well-kept secret hideaway situated on a beautiful and very quiet beach. Our guests are usually amazed at the large and airy space, and the convenience of the huge private veranda. We have a small plunge pool, outdoor shower, and BBQ area, and the private gardens feature palm trees and beautiful tropical flowers.

Fitts Village, Saint James, Barbados

Fitts Village was named after the local family which once owned a large tract of land in the area. It was once famous as a fishing village, but nowadays is better known for its fabulous beach and as a favourite place to swim with the turtles. Fitts still feels like the "real" Barbados and local people here welcome visitors.
