Bill and Janis are great hosts. The rooms were comfortable. Bill cooks a great cheese quiche that is a must if it's on the menu. They were quick to say they want to "pamper" you so they were very attentive.
Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and gracious. The accommodations were very nice and we enjoyed a nice nights sleep. It was pretty close to the ocean and we took a short walk along the coast, in that short walk we observed seals splashing int he ocean. We were only staying one night as our primary reason for visiting the area was to start early for Hearst Castle which is not very far away, and then proceed up the coast for the rest of the two week vacation. The following morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast cooked by our Host Bill before leaving. They are very personable and we enjoyed a nice conversation and good food before leaving. We wished we staying in the area longer and highly recommend Bill and Janis's place.
Our family of four (two late teenage boys) stayed with Bill and Janis for two days - we were on our way to LA from SF and wanted to break the journey and go to Hearst Castle. We had a lovely time. Bill and Janis are really great, helpful hosts with lots of useful info about the area. Bill booked our Hearst Castle tickets on the morning after our arrival (10% discount too!) and they recommended a wonderful local seafood restaurant which was excellent - HUGE portions, beware! The breakfasts were indeed very good. The rooms were clean and the beds v comfy. Lots of dvd's for the boys, corkscrew and wine glasses for us! You really should stay here for two nights if you can - Cambria and the nearby coastline is a really beautiful, underrated spot. Many thanks Bill and Janis.
Bill and Janis were wonderful B&B hosts with loads of information to share with us during our stay with them....we will be staying with them many more times in the future. We highly recommend booking a stay with them to anyone.
We had a lovely one-night stay with Bill and Janis. A peaceful spot in the hilly woods above Cambria. Everything provided to allow us to relax for the evening with our food on the terrace (excellent take out from Linns). A hearty cooked breakfast accompanied by informative tales about Hearst and the castle ahead of our tour (which Bill booked for us with a 10% discount). Helpful, prompt responses to questions prior to our stay.
Bill and Janis are very kind hosts. The rooms are nice and just like in the pictures. The House is very quiet and close to nature.
We had a great stay at Bill & Janis' B&B, they were very kind hosts who provided great tips & information. The accommodation was cozy and in a quiet location. We slept well in the comfortable beds & enjoyed the lovely breakfast!
