Bill and Janis were excellent hosts. Their home is lovely and so inviting. The electric fireplace was super cozy for snuggling. We had everything we needed. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, including accommodating my son's strict diet. I highly recommend!
Bill & Janis were great hosts. We were driving the PCH from LA to SF and happily stayed with them as our halfway mark. We arrived later than scheduled, but Bill was out on his porch waiting for us and didn't get upset at our delayed arrival. The accommodations were great and breakfast was delicious. Bill & Janis have great stories to share, so if you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask them! I would highly recommend staying at this great place!
Bill was outside helping us locate his home and had us pull in the driveway. We got a complete tour and he was obviously hoping to be helpful while making us feel at home. The beds were very comfortable, the space felt private and the breakfast was far more than we expected. Bill is a great cook!
It's is a nice quiet location nestled in the trees but close to the beach. His dinner recommendation was spot on. This was a good choice for my husband, myself and our adult daughter.
Overall the stay was very pleasant. Bill and Janis have so many great stories to share over their delicious (I would go as far to say famous) breakfast! 5 stars -- if you're driving through Cambria on the 1 and not staying with B and J you're making a mistake.
We had a wonderful time staying with Bill & Janis. They were very knowledgable of the area and accommodating during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were neat and clean. We especially enjoyed having a little outdoor patio to enjoy a bottle of wine.
Bill and Janis are Entrepreneurs. Bill is from Oregon, Janis is from New York. Janis was at Fresno State University where she studied interior design and Bill is a former Hearst Castle guide. We like to travel.
