A traditional (1835) Charleston home, our listing features the home’s entire first floor (1100 sqft), one king bed, one sofa bed, a breakfast nook, deck, gated off street parking, and plenty of outdoor space. Cayo Cañón, a traditional (1835) Charleston Single home, has a walk score of 94 and is a “WALKER’S PARADISE.” You are only steps away from world-class restaurants, exciting nightlife, galleries, museums, boutiques, salons, and more. And if you want to cool off and jump in the ocean, you are a 20 minute drive from both Folly and Sullivan’s beach. Listing includes the following modern upgrades: Wi-Fi, 50 inch TV, Apple TV, YouTube TV, Ecobee smart thermostat, Bluetooth stereo, 2 nightstand USB chargers, 2 sleep therapy sound machine, 24-hour exterior surveillance cameras, comfortable furniture, new stove, and more.
Cayo Cañón includes the entire first floor and private first floor deck. The unit is completely separate, operates independently, and has ZERO shared walls. The first floor has a modern, uncluttered feel with hardwood floors, central heat and air, ceiling fans, and a deck ceiling fan for those hot Southern days. There is one bedroom with a King bed; dresser drawers are provided. The living room has a Queen size sofa bed and couch. The bathroom has a full tub/shower, two cabinets, and sink. The kitchen has a premium five-burner gas stove, coffee maker, Brita filter, electric tea kettle, toaster, microwave, ice maker, blender, utensils, and a breakfast nook. Iron and board can be found in the kitchen. Washer/dryer available.
Cayo Cañón is professionally cleaned prior to every check-in. New, clean linens and towels are provided. There is plenty of additional outdoor recreational space to bask in Charleston’s constant sunshine. Enjoy your craft cocktails on the deck and unwind after a long day of shopping. We have the perfect layout for you to get away and explore Charleston for the first or one-hundredth time.
Pets are NOT allowed; our listing is neither equipped nor set up for pets. There are plenty of downtown pet-friendly listings.
Service Animals.
If you have a service animal, as a *courtesy, please 1) upload your legal service animal paperwork to our conversation thread, 2) disclose the animal's purpose, 3) list the tasks that the animal performs, and 4) accompany your pet during your entire stay.
All service animal damages will be listed and charged.
Smoking is NOT allowed inside the home.
Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated, the city will issue you a $1047 fine.
Guests are responsible for their own transportation. If guests' transportation is affected and/or canceled (e.g., weather), guests are expected to honor their reservation and pay for the nights they've booked.
In the event of a mandatory emergency evacuation, we will refund our guests for the nights affected by the evacuation. If a guest cancels BEFORE a mandatory evacuation is announced, their cancellation falls under Airbnb's Moderate cancellation policy. We strongly recommend purchasing travelers' insurance.

Guests will have exclusive, unshared access of the entire first floor, deck, and ONE off-street (vehicle) parking space. Our driveway is 10 feet wide. We've successfully hosted hundreds of guests with SUVs. Please, make other parking arrangements for your trailer (boat, U-Haul, etc.).
You will be by yourselves on the first floor with your own deck, bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, breakfast nook, and two private entrances. Cayo Cañón features keyless entry to make your check-in easy, 24 hours a day.
Please, contact us well in advance of your stay if you need to park one additional vehicle, add guests, or have us set up the Pack 'N Play crib. Prices are as follows:
+ Add one parking space.............$20 per day
+ Add guests................................... $35 per guest per day
+ Assemble Pack 'N Play crib.......$10 per day (max $50)
