A 10-minute hike to High Falls, a 15-minute drive to Hawthorne Valley Farm, Won Dharma Meditation Center or Taconic State Park, 20 minutes to Copake Lake for swimming, waterskiing, and golf, Omi Art Park, and 30 minutes to Catamount for snowboarding and skiing.

Just 5 mins from the house is the High Falls hiking trail, waterfall and swimming. Also 5 minutes to a fabulous farm to table restaurant Local 111.

10 minutes to the Hawthorne Valley School and Farm, with a fantastic organic farmers market! 15 minutes drive into Hudson with many great shops, restaurants, galleries and general fun cultural scene. 15 minute drive to Copake Lake, biggest lake in Columbia County also to the Taconic State Park with big lake and beach great for picnics and swimming. 20 minute drive to Catamount skiing and 30 minute drive to the Berkshires.

All in all it is just a fabulous spot and there is a lot to do.... if you don't want to just lie back and relax!
