Paolo is an excellent host. He came at the train station to meet us. He took time to show us, on the map, the places to see , very charming person. The appt is very well located near everything and is like descibed. Clean and has all you need for a short stay.
Unfortunatly we needed to leave a day before of our plan. The appt is located just in front of a bar or pub.. When i rented this appt i looked at the comments and was aware of it but thought the bar was closing earlier during the week. I guess i didn't read it properly...The young people met there before diner and many stay outside the bar to drink, smoke until nearly 1:00am. The windows are good quality but the clientele stay in front of the appt door and the noice can be really loud. The first night, we have not been able to sleep and the next morning, upstair appt was in renovation: floor tiling ceramics....it was not even 7:00am.
I contacted Paolo who was really professional and told me that he will contact the owner for the work to start later. Maybe the reno was done as we didn't ear anything the next morning.
Even if the location was great ( you need to know that it is an area with many immigrants- i have no problem with it but some people may have) and Paolo helpful, we had to leave the place even if the last day was paid. We were unable to relax in the evening and sleeping without earplugs. I could certainly rent Paolo's appts in the futur but in a quiet area.
A cosy apartment at a central location. Though you have to carry your suite case up a flight of stairs, it is manageable. Pablo meet us at the train station and lead us to the apartment.
Was greeted by Paolo at our arrival. A truly genuine host with an even more stunning and cosy apartment. Highly professional, paolo obviously knows what he is doing and was extremely helpful when giving us advice how to tour Florence.
Paolo was the perfect host! My cousin and I were traveling Europe for 3 weeks and this was the best apartment we stayed in. Paolo was very friendly and easy to contact. We drove into Florence and parked in a garage on the same street as the apartment on Paolos recommendation. He met us there and walked us to the apartment. He is very thorough and helpful. I would go back to stay at Paolo's apartment anytime I visit Florence!
Paolo was a professional, friendly, organised and informative host. The apartment was lovely, with all the facilities that would be required during any stay. Paolo spent plenty of time giving us a detailed view of the city including the best restaurants, gelato, and site seeing destinations. We will be back to visit Paolo and Florence again and would recommend to anyone.
Paolo was very professional. He provided a map and gave us a guide to some favorite tourist spots and places to eat. This apartment was small but very cute and clean. It was exactly like the picture. The bed was really comfortable and everything was great. Using hot water was bit tricky so listen carefully when Paolo explains it for you. Otherwise, happy travels!
We had an excellent time staying in Paolo's apartment. We were warmly met at the station by his brother and walked to the apartment. We were given travel tips along the way with places of interest kindly pointed out. The apartment was clean and exactly as described/shown in the photos. Paolo and his brother have prepared a fabulous mini guidebook for their guests use with restaurant suggestions and places to visit which was very useful. The apartment is an easy walk to the Uffizi, Accademia, the train station -and even Piazzale Michelangio (with a gelato stop along the way!). Highly recommended.

About the Host, Paolo
My name is Paolo and I'm a full time Airbnber! I like to take care of my guests, by providing them with maps, suggestions and whatever else needed. I'm also very happy to come and pick you up at the station.
I speak Italian and English, so foreign tourists are more than welcome.
