Our farm is a quiet, 5+ acre haven one mile from the center of Easthampton and 8-12 minutes to Smith College/Northampton. It's a great base from which to explore all the restaurants, cultural, and outdoor activities offered in the beautiful Pioneer Valley.
The freshly updated and private apartment is on the first level of our rustic farmhouse and offers a kitchenette, spacious living room, bathroom, queen bedroom and second, cozy, full bedroom.

The space
NOTE: We are a safe and inclusive space for everyone - Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), as well as all genders are welcome to stay with us. We ask all guests to respect this policy regardless of personal opinions or affiliations.

The private apartment is on the first level of our rustic farmhouse. You will enter the apartment into the spacious living room with a dining area on one side and a comfy couch for watching TV or reading on the other side.

The kitchenette is off the living room and contains all essentials for basic cooking and meal prep including: toaster oven, microwave, two-burner hot plate and all necessary cookware, dishes and utensils.

The main bedroom has a queen bed with two closets. There's plenty of space to unpack onto the shelves or to hang nicer items. There is also a small shelf/desktop that will hold a laptop computer. The second bedroom is small but cozy with a full size bed. (See separate listing to book this apartment as a 1 bedroom only.)

There is one bathroom directly across the hall from the queen bedroom. The shower is a claw foot tub which requires you to step over a ledge and into it. It's best for those who are steady on their feet and do not require a shower bar or something to lean on while getting in and out. The shower head is low and may not be comfortable for someone close to six feet tall or higher, however there is a handheld shower head to assist. Please note: showers are plenty warm but baths are not possible as we have an on-demand water heater which will not heat a full tub of water.

The heat works very well in the apartment! You won't be cold in winter; bring a t-shirt. In the summer we have window air conditioners in the bedrooms ONLY.

Please note: The space has been refurbished but the building itself is almost 200 years old. If you are sensitive to old buildings or have severe allergies, this may not be the right place for you.

Guest access
Drive slowly up the long driveway, it's very bumpy.
The house is a work in progress and pretty rough looking on the outside (for now). DON'T WORRY, inside is really nice!

Easy parking is just outside the front door. The apartment is the one-story "wing" to the right of the external staircase. Enter through the sun porch and go through the purple door.

Other things to note
Our farm is a former organic farm and spiritual commune that fell into disrepair under the previous owners. We recently purchased the property and are in the process of bringing it back to its former glory; inside the house is much better than outside! The house is set back from the road, and privacy remains in tact, but be prepared for rustic charm. You're welcome to wander the grounds or look for fat frogs in the pond.

Mindy lives on the farm and manages the property (and does all the hard work). Allison comes and goes with the seasons but is always connected via the interwebs.

If you're looking for a larger space with even more privacy we have another AirBnB rental close by. It's a one bedroom house with a full cooks kitchen, comfortable living room, office, and dining room. Search AirBnB for this listing:
Old world charm, modern convenience.

My work: Real Estate Agent
Lives in Easthampton, Massachusetts
To quote Buckaroo Bonzai of the 8th dimension, "wherever you go, there you are". Boom, and just like that I landed on a farm in Easthampton, MA. All of my friends know that I love a project and this space is one that I'm really excited about. I like to think of the farm as a coconut, hairy and crusty on the outside, and sweet on the inside. Come join us, relax and take a walk around. Depending on the season you'll find red raspberries, apples galore, frogs, fish in the pond, and a lovely sitting area to read a book or enjoy a meal. When I'm not busy helping folks buy and sell real estate....and thinking up the next big thing to occupy my time, I enjoy going to movies, hearing live music, and hanging out with my 14 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dante. Our day wouldn't be complete without a daily stroll through the beautiful Pioneer Valley, the best place on this side of the planet.
