The space
Surrounded by tall pines, aspen and birch trees on beautiful Loon Lake, Pine Point Haven offers a private setting on over 5 acres and 350 feet of lakeshore. Whether you enjoy spending the day swimming, sunbathing or fishing from your own private dock, or just relaxing by a campfire with an unparalleled sunset view, Pine Point Haven offers a truly memorable vacation spot. We invite you to come and enjoy the quiet beauty of northern Minnesota.
The property features all main level living with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large kitchen offering countertop bar seating for four plus a separate dining area and table with seating for six and large great room with gas fireplace and large screen tv with streaming available. There is a washer/dryer on this level available for your use. The great room features lots of windows with views all around to the lake as well as the surrounding wooded areas.
Whether you spend the week in your private setting or take in the local entertainment, Pine Point Haven offers something for everyone:
•Bike, hike, rollerblade or snowmobile along miles of scenic paved trails from Brainerd to Walker on the Paul Bunyan Trail.
•Marvel at the sunsets from your private dock.
•Experience Minnesota’s finest golf courses (The Pines, The Preserve, The Classic and others).
•Enjoy the scent of pine trees as you sip your morning coffee and take in the sunrise.
•Dine and shop the unique stores and restaurants of Nisswa and Pequot Lakes.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house and property during your stay, which features:
•Central Air conditioning
•Beautiful great room with knotty pine floors and walls, gas fireplace, windows surround to exceptional lake views and woods.
•Private dock with great swimming area and beautiful lake views.
•2 bedrooms: Master has a king bed with full bathroom; Second bedroom has a king bed and a bathroom across the hallway.
The third bathroom is located in the main living area of the home.
•Large deck, gas grill, and outdoor fire ring.
•Great room with cozy furniture, gas fireplace, large 52 inch Smart T.V. with sound bar (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Pandora, Spotify and a host of others, so bring your passwords to sign into your accounts).
•Wireless internet, so bring your laptop if you are so inclined
•Bed and bath linens provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
•Kitchen with breakfast bar, gas stove, microwave, and refrigerator.
•Deep soaking bathtub in master bedroom.
•Ceiling fans in all main level sleeping areas
•Public access to boat launch within 1/4 mile.
•Wonderful lake views as cabin sits just 45 feet from the lake
Other things to note
Pine Point Haven is available for rental in every season. We happen to think that every season has its own beauty and offers as assortment of activities!
Some suggested seasonal activities include:
Spring/Summer/Fall ~ Take long walks/hikes/bike rides on the Paul Bunyan trail or any of the nearby parks and trails. Take a kayak out on Loon Lake, or rent the pontoon boat (offered for separate rental) and get in some amazing fishing. Enjoy outdoor campfires (we do provide a limited amount of firewood, and several places in the area offer bundles for sale) Visit the nearby towns of Nisswa and Pequot Lakes for fantastic family activities (i.e. turtle races, electric bike rentals, ice cream, candy store, wine bar, brewery, restaurants and great boutique shopping).
Winter ~ Snowmobile on the Paul Bunyan trail, or any of the several trails in the area. We have several sets of snowshoes available for your use and a great trail through the woods on our property. Rent a mobile sauna for the day from the local sauna providers (currently there are two). Many of the local shops and restaurants are open in the winter but some do operate on limited hours so be sure to check directly with them. Or just stay at the cabin and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace with a good book, a favorite movie, some board games and perhaps a glass of wine.
The cleaning fee...we do need to charge it as we believe in the importance of very clean spaces for our guests. The home takes several hours to thoroughly clean between guests. We try to make your check out as easy as possible, we simply ask that you leave nothing behind when you leave and put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher. No need to strip beds, do laundry, vacuum or anything else. We take care of the rest!
One more thing...we try to think of everything you will need- no need to bring your own toilet paper at our place. We offer plenty of it, along with paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, garbage bags, laundry soap, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hairdryer!
Our standard check in time is 4 p.m. and checkout is by 11 a.m. We try to accommodate requests for either an early check in or late check out whenever we can, but it will depend upon availability. Please message us a week or two before your stay and we will see what we can do.
Some important kitchen amenities include: Reverse osmosis faucet for clean drinking water, Keurig coffee maker, French Press and Pour Over coffee makers, a selection of teas, 4 slice toaster, Air Fryer, slow cooker (crock pot), electric blender, electric hand mixer, pots & pans, mixing bowls, serving dishes, plates, bowls, utensils, salt, pepper, and plenty of cooking spices.
