Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Great mountain views, ATV Trails, State and National parks, hiking, underground mine tour, all-in-a-day trips. You’ll love my place because of the comfy beds, the high ceilings, the views, wide open spaces, peace. My place is good for couples, big groups, and furry friends, let us know your needs. Located less than 5 miles to Spearhead Trail's Stone Mountain trailhead and only 30 minutes to Mountain View Trail.
Two couples fit nicely in the 1st level 2 bedrooms for a quaint getaway.

The space
The large front porch gets everyone's vote. We're a great location for families up to 10, large outdoor spaces make social distancing possible. We've made plans for your cookout with plenty of seating and a grill. This 72 acre organic working farm has cows in the fields above, calves romping all around. A whole herd of deer and wild turkeys. Five bedrooms offer comfort and convenience for family and friends to join from near and far. In summer, you'll see us working the squash fields. Hike to the top acres to a pond and cool wooded areas. Take the long walk straight out our drive, through the tunnel to the Powell River on the other side, where a fresh mountain spring runs year round. Ever walk the rails? The tracks run through town, jump on and go east or west for miles and see things from a new prospective, passing the river along the way.

Southwest Virginia is our home and we love hosting and promoting tourism to our scenery and outdoor opportunities. While we own the organic farm in the middle of our little town, rentals have been a lifelong business. I still work a regular 40 while he has retired to helping our son with the farm and an occasional greeter who mans the non-stop errands.
