Y Beudy is 5 miles from the local beach Aberporth. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness and the high ceilings. It is good for couples and solo adventurers. There are two double bedrooms and one daybed.
It is a recently converted milking shed so is well insulated. It is heated with an Esse multi fuel stove, there is also a gas hob and electric oven. Guests can only start their stay between Sun and Fri. Sats are reserved for cleaning and so place is not ready until Sun

The space
The original milking shed was a long narrow low stone built building with a slate roof. Now it is a single storied holiday cottage with a mezzanine second double bedroom. It has a small extension to the front. It sleeps up to five people – two doubles and one sofa bed.
The ‘living area’ is a single space for cooking, eating and resting.
At one end is the kitchen area with an Esse cast iron stove which provides the heating, hot water and cooking. (when alight as it is a multi-flue stove) The back boiler heats the water in the ‘hot water cylinder’ which also has an electric immersion heater. There is a LPG gas hob with electric over built into kitchen units on one side of the room and on the other a kitchen sink with storage cabinets. In the middle of this space, is a narrow table with seating for 4 to 6 people.
The other end of this living space, is the resting area with a large sofa and swivel chair.
The whole area is open to the A Frame roof with three Roof windows. Light is also provided by three ‘arrow slit’ windows, overlooking the back of the property.

Guest access
Usually guests use the whole of the property, renting as a holiday cottage.

Other things to note
During the winter months the Esse stove can be lite to provide the heating, hot water and possible cooking facilities. If you are unsure about lighting it, please ask. The electric starter can be used with coal and without kindling. Some fuel is provided but you may need to buy more, bags are available through Viena for £10.
