The space
Boho Farm carriage house is in the heart of the South Roosevelt Historic District and Roosevelt Row Arts District. Enjoy all the iconic city views from this second story apartment.
The carriage house is brand new construction completed in 2016, designed to have all the modern conveniences and creature comforts, but with the charming 1903 period details of the original. Every detail was considered; from the solid wood period flooring, tilework, solid pine for the woodwork, doors and windows. The apartment comfortably sleeps two, and we also have a twin mattress stored underneath the queen bed that can be pulled out to accommodate another adult or child. The twin bedding is stored in the armoire.
The kitchen is stocked for cooking. We even have a gas range! But if you don't want to cook there are great restaurants just a few steps away. We also have a wonderful selection of restaurants that deliver throughout the valley on Uber Eats, Door Dash and Postmates, if you chose to stay in.
This apartment is fully outfitted with clean white towels, extra sheets, all the kitchen amenities you might want during your stay: oven, range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, blender, chemex, French press, coffee maker, coffee grinder, all dishes, glassware, bakeware and cookware. We also have lots of good books, board games, puzzles, cards, and movies to help you relax in your down time.
Organic shampoo, conditioner and Dr. Bonner's pure Castile soap is stocked for the shower. Along with a stocked medicine cabinet with extra items you might need or have forgotten.
Full size washer and dryer are in the laundry room of the apartment. Stocked with environmental friendly laundry soap. Along with an iron, spray starch, ironing board and sewing basket.
The entire property is chemical free. Using organic sustainable practices inside and out. A local, woman owned, green cleaning company that only uses chemical and cruelty free products, cleans the apartment throughly after each and every guest.

We love supporting local, so we stock the fridge with some of our local faves! From Lola's coffee beans-the neighborhood coffee shop around the corner, our favorite beers and micro brews, and our own freshly laid chicken eggs. Local Oil Olive and local honey for cooking, and even a bowl of seasonal fruit grown organically on sight. We want to be your best organic urban farm experience!
During your stay you have access to high speed internet, a brand new flat panel smart television with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and more.
You have your own private brick patio with a dining table and two comfortable wicker chairs. It overlooks the vegetable garden on the first floor, to the left of the stairs up to the apartment. It's a great place to have coffee, a glass of wine, and watch the birds, chickens and ducks. Enjoy our organic lush oasis four blocks from the downtown city center, it really is a secret garden in the middle of the city!
Guest access
You have your own private deck with a table and chairs that overlooks a large peaceful water feature. It's a perfect place for having dinner, enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine.
Other things to note
Please note that there are chicken and ducks on our urban farm. They have a nice clean area that they are fenced into but they do make some noise from time to time but most of the time it is a quiet, peaceful place to be. We often refer to our little flourishing garden of eden in the middle of the city, as The Shire. We'd love to share with you the beauty of our urban farm.
A Scottie dog lives here too, but he is inside the main house most of the time.

Located in the heart of the Historic South Roosevelt and Roosevelt Row Arts District in downtown Phoenix, just a few blocks from the city center, Valley Metro light rail, and farmers market. There are wonderful local coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, wine shops, boutiques, and bars to explore on foot. We are also close to bike and scooter rentals.
