About This Listing
My apartment is light and welcoming with classic Danish design. It's situated in calm yet trendy Frederiksberg close to local sights and only 10 minutes from the very center of Copenhagen.
Light and trendy apartment situated in calm and peaceful Frederiksberg. The apartment is 70 square meters with one big bedroom with a queensize bed (120 x 200 cm), a large living room, dining room, kitchen with dishwasher and a small bathroom.
A perfect place to stay for your romantic city break or for holiday with one child or more.
If I am available I will great you myself and show you around. If not my cousin (and downstairs-neighbor) will be happy to help.
Frederiksberg is a beautiful part of Copenhagen and a little calmer (and a little more posh!) than nearby Nørrebro.
We have some of Copenhagen's favorite recreational areas such as Frederiksberg park, the Copenhagen Zoo and Søndermarken within walking distance and if you fancy shopping enjoy great nearby Godthåbsvej and Falkoner Alle as well as popular Gammel Kongevej and Værnedamsvej pretty close by. In case of rain - fear not! Frederiksberg Mall is only 5 minutes away.
The metro by Frederiksberg Centret (a five minute walk) will take you to Nørreport Station or Kongens Nytorv (the very centre of Copenhagen) as well as the airport.
If you plan to rent bikes for your stay in Copenhagen, you'll reach the city centre in about 10 minutes and Nørrebro and Vesterbro in about 5 minutes respectively.
This is a nonsmoking apartment.
Great apartment. Rooms are spacious by European standards. Except the bathroom, which is very small though functional. Quite typical to find this size bathroom in Europe. The location worked very well for our needs. Close to grocery stores. Excellent laundry a short walk away. All public transit easily accessible. Apartment is very comfortable. Equipped with dishwasher, coffee press, instant hot water maker. Julie had oatmeal/mueslix as well as milk available which was very nice for our first morning. There's a great little pastry/bakery just down the street. The apartment is in a really fun part of Denmark, and Julie's apartment is a very comfortable place to stay while exploring the area. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Julie was a fantastic host. She met us at the apartment, and showed us where we could find everything, and marked up on a map places we were interested in. Fresh milk, tea and coffee and muesli were thoughtfully provided. Julie then left us to it which was also appreciated after a flight. Julie gave us a fantastic recommendation of a restaurant before arrival so we could pre book. The evening at Tarnet restaurant which is situated in the tower at parliament, was ambient, friendly, with amazing views and wonderful food...not to mention indulgent rose gin! All thanks to Julie!
The apartment was full of Danish design, airy and stylish. You had all the appliances you would need, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Julie has quality reading material in English and Danish, and there is always a DVD and WiFi if you need it.
The neighborhood is safe, attractive and has interesting shops and a Fantastic bakery. It is so close to the central area, and we enjoyed museums, galleries, Tivoli, boat rides and Jazz. So much to see and do so close to Julie's.
A wonderful thoughtful stylish host and a beautiful home from home. Thank you!
We had a great time at Julie's place. The apartment is located in central but quiet neighborhood close to the metro and lots of cool restaurants and shops. The apartment has all the essential utilities which made our stay very comfortable. We would highly recommend Julie´s apartment.
I had a great stay in Julie's apartment. It is exactly as described. It is very calm and very bright. Although it is not in the center, it is very close to the metro which gets you to the center of Copenhagen in just a few minutes. There a lots of restaurants and cafés nearby. Julie was a great host in the fact that the apartment was spotless and that she explained all the ins and outs of it in detail. She was also a great help with local tips and goings on. I'd highly recommend her place and would stay there next time I visit Copenhagen.
