Come sit on the large wrap around deck with 6 burner gas grill, outdoor patio furniture for dining and lounging or visit our 3,000 square foot greenhouse. Bantam Lake is 3.5 miles from the house. Lake Waramaug (house comes with beach pass) is 9. Full kitchen with everything but the groceries to cook just like home. Please note this is a rural setting, while the WiFi is amazing cell service can be spotty.

The space
The house was renovated completely in 2016, there are large picture windows to show the a view of the lawns, meadow and greenhouse on one side. The other side of the house offers all woodland views.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with walk in closet and a desk as well.

The second bedroom has a twin bed with another twin trundle that can be pulled out for two twin beds or converted to a king size bed. This room has a closet and a dresser.

The bathroom has. A large 60" vanity, tub and shower. There is a washer drier for small loads of laundry. This is an energy efficient machine that does not offer large capacity. The local laundromat can help with additional or larger loads of laundry. A table for four that can be converters to 6 is just inside the door as well as well S the bar that seats 4. There is a comfortable living room with another large window for wonderful sunrise views.

On the deck there is a six burner grill, a patio table that seats 6, 2 lounge chairs with side tables as well as a couch with ottomans to rest and put your feet up.

There is ample lawn space for children to play.

Additional information for local activities, places to eat, shop, spa, etc are listed in our house manual. We can also forward these items to you in an email if you are considering this location but have not booked yet.

We would like to remind our guests this is a working farm with greenhouses and fields where people are working Monday - Friday 8-4. Recently we have had some guests surprised by country living, with the flowers, fawns and fields, there comes tall grass, ticks, bugs, pollen, spiders and the occasional bear or field mouse. If you love all that nature has to offer, this is the place for you, but if you are concerned with bugs, tall grass, and pollen please book elsewhere.

Other things to note
Local artists are exhibited throughout the house with opportunities for purchase.

Oil painting or art lessons are available through Carol Brightman Johnson, one of our exhibiting artists. Custom dinners, yoga lessons, on site massage from licensed therapist, rental of paddle boards and outdoor gear, are all possible to book privately. We also have a beach pass for the local lake. Please send me a message if you are interested in any of the aforementioned activities.

We have a dog and two children that may be in the greenhouse if you choose to partake of this space.

Please let us know if you are bringing young children as we can provide: books, toys, utensils, dishes, outlet covers, child carriers, etc. if we can email back and forth as to specific needs in advance.
