Close to Chattooga Belle Farm, waterfalls, Chattooga River whitewater rafting, trout fishing, and the Southern Appalachian mountains. This is not the entire house-the rental is a ground level apartment with its own entrance on eight acres in the hardwood forest. There are two private bedrooms and a full sleeper-sofa in the living room. Not handicap accessible due to steep gravel path to entrance. High-clearance vehicles recommended due to steep gravel access road with erosion control humps.

The space
This is a ground level apartment with its own separate entrance and windows to the woods from every room. You are not renting the entire house, only the lovely ground level apartment. Fun and contemporary decor, with original and limited edition art. There is a huge porch with an outdoor shower, hammock and seating.

If you like seclusion, this is the place for you! This property is on eight acres, with a small creek at the edge of it under a mountain laurel grove. The other lots in the neighborhood start at 10 acres.

Hi! I moved into my newly-built cabin in the woods in February, 2016. I decided to finish the walkout basement so I have plenty of room for family when they come to visit. I completed it in November, 2016. It seems silly to have it sit empty most of the time, so I decided to share my little bit of heaven as a vacation rental - and of course, recoup some of my costs.

I love this area for the paddling, hiking, trout fishing and just for its general beauty. And this community is full of wonderful people.
