The Range Rider's Lodge is located in Silver Gate, MT just one mile outside Yellowstone's Northeastern Gate. Opened in 1938, this historic building was originally an “indoor playground” for drinking, gambling, and prostitution. Today, it's more tame with a dozen rooms for rent and a low-key bar open from 6-10pm. It's a stunningly beautiful, rustic lodging option for people who don't mind communal bathrooms and creaky floors.

Room #6 has two full-size beds and sleeps four people.

Cozy cabin. Comfortable beds and beautiful views. We had a great time taking the peddle boats out before we left in the morning :)

The location of this lodge is stunning. One of the most beautiful highways in the US, the Beartooth highway literally starts closer to the lodge (if you are driving towards Red Lodge, MT). This place is exactly as advertised. Very rustic and close to nature. There is no wifi or…

Very expensive for what you get, if you're coming from Yellowstone you drive through the Lamar valley and see tons of bison. The staff are really nice. For this "hostel" feel, there should really be a kitchen
