The accommodation:
The just recently renovated 49 m2 apartment consists out of a bedroom with a very comfortable king-sized box-spring bed (180 cm x 200 cm) with various extra functions (such as different lying positions), a spacious living room with a convertible sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower cabin as well as a separated restroom.
We suggest to stay in the apartment with 4 people. You can find a convertible sofa bed (150 cm x 200 cm), a dining table for 4 as well as a 43” HD Flat TV in the 20 m2 living room.
*** Just in case: we are also renting a cheaper flat in the same building, which is a little bit smaller and the perfect size to host 2 people ***
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a dishwasher and a fridge (including a freezer), a coffee machine and everything else you would need to start cooking. :)
Of course, we supply the flat with fresh towels and bed clothes. You’ll find an ironing board with flat iron as well as a hairdryer in the apartment. Also, high-speed Wi-Fi is available in the entire apartment.
During the stay the apartment is yours completely. Nevertheless, you can always contact us for advices, questions and so on.
Area:
The flat is located in the district “Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus”, the emerging “in district” of Vienna. Several small cafés and bakeries, restaurants and bars as well as the “Meiselmarkt” (insider tip! :) ) are just around the corner of the flat. Also, many supermarkets, banks and pharmacies are close by. The famous shopping street Mariahilferstraße is only a short walk away. A parking garage is 350m away of the apartment (the entire inner city of Vienna is a restricted parking zone with 2€/hr.!).
Metro (U3), tram (9,49) as well as public bus (12A, 49A) are only a 2-minute walk of the apartment. One of the biggest train stations (“Westbahnhof”) can be reached in around 5 minutes, to the airport you’ll need about 45 minutes. Many sights are located at the metro line U3 – Neubaugasse for a local shopping trip (4 minutes), Volkstheater / national library / Heldenplatz and lots of museums (6 minutes), Stephansdom (Vienna’s most famous landmark) can be reached in around 10 minutes!
Furthermore, the apartment is located right behind the Stadthalle, which is Austria’s biggest Event location where multiple concerts and other fantastic shows take place (Eurovision Song Contest was hosted here a year ago!). So, in case you’re planning to go to a concert you can easily walk home afterwards! :)
