Wake up to birds singing a rooster crowing. Enjoy Sunrise, sunset, birds and wildlife from the porch, deck or inside through large picture windows. Sit back and relax, meditate, renew, pick up a book and read, create, write, paint, unplug. (fast Wi Fi, 32 inch TV and an echo dot) Families and dog owners will like the large yard Invite the neighbor’s dogs over for a friendly play date.
My grandmother an artist designed the cottage 1960's. There are many unique family mementos on display.

The space
The artists cottage has a wonderful flagstone porch and open deck to enjoy the wonderful outdoors. Enter the main room 12 x 20 with four large picture windows and a fireplace. A sofa bed is placed in front of the fireplace. Two relaxing chairs and several heirloom chairs. The bright updated bathroom has a sliding door, two shower heads and a bidet toilet seat. The beds and kitchen are in the vintage tiny house area. A firm double bed is in an alcove surrounded by pretty mementos above the windows, which are covered with handmade curtains. The windows are unique and may be left open on hot summer days allowing for a breeze. The Galley kitchen leads into the small bedroom with twin bed.
The basement door is next to the desk that a great grandfather made. My grandmother designed the space to display her beautiful dishes and collectibles .

I love Western New York and Buffalo. I have been hosting since 2010. Wow, what a wonderful time it has been. Meeting so many people during this interesting time in history. The COVID pandemic was a challenge. I have retired and now spend time with my rescue dog Poppy Dawg. We travel between Buffalo and Olean,NY. Our daily walks are so much fun meeting and talking with our friends. We welcome guests and their humans to our family cottage when we are not there.
The cottage is a family treasure designed by our grandmother Anna Roberts Baker in 1959. It is unique, a bit of mid century history, field stone exterior, surounding a 1948 house trailer. Large picture windows to observe wildlife and birds an updated bathroom (2020).
