The space
Enjoy the Tyrolean mountains in a special place in the Seefeld region. Our romantic chalet is quiet and close to nature directly on the cross-country ski trail as well as hiking and mountain bike trails and offers ideal conditions for relaxation and active holidays in all seasons.

As a guest, you will receive the regional guest card, which includes numerous benefits: free use of public buses, free cross-country ski tickets and other discounts for leisure, sports and cultural activities in the region. Despite the quiet location on a Tyrolean mountain farm, the chalet is easily accessible by car, and there is also a bus connection.

The chalet has two separate bedrooms (one with two single beds) and a sofa bed in the living room and is ideal for couples or families. A balcony with magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains invites you to linger.

The furnishings are deliberately authentic and equipped with original country furniture from the region, which preserves the chalet's traditional character. At the same time, modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and satellite TV are available.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for self-catering – including an oven, dishwasher, Nespresso and coffee machine. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use in the nearby main building.

Our Tyrolean restaurant with regional cuisine (open seasonally) is directly opposite. A fenced playground is in the immediate vicinity of the chalet.

An ideal retreat for guests who want to enjoy alpine lifestyle, nature, comfort and authentic Tyrol in a quiet location.

Guest access
The guests have the rented half of the chalet exclusively at their disposal. Free parking is in the immediate vicinity of the house.

Please do not drive directly to the chalet by car, as the access road is not passable, especially in rain or snow.

Check-in is according to the check-in instructions you will find in your booking details in the app 24 hours before arrival. Please follow these instructions.

Other things to note
The chalet is a semi-detached house. Only one half of the house is rented out. We occasionally use the other half of the house ourselves and do not rent it to guests.

The chalet was completely rebuilt and acoustically decoupled in May 2020, ensuring acoustic separation of the two halves of the house. For an occupancy of 5 people, the living room is used as an additional living room/bedroom.

Our Tyrolean restaurant directly opposite is open seasonally and is temporarily closed in autumn and spring.

Neighborhood highlights

Mösern-Buchen – An honest home. Nature-loving hideaway.

The sunny mountain village of Mösern with the hamlet of Buchen is located on the Seefelder high plateau at 1,245 metres above sea level. With a unique view over the Inn Valley towards Arlberg and the surrounding mountains, Mösern-Buchen convinces with its homely charm and promises vacations in a unique oasis of peace. The smallest pearl of the Seefeld Olympia region enchants with idyll, panoramic views and a varied sporting and culinary offer.

Vacations in Mösern-Buchen, the so-called "swallow's nest of Tyrol," offer a varied offering for sports enthusiasts and families in winter and summer. Well-prepared cross-country trails invite you to become active and experience an authentic piece of pure nature during your vacation For children and skiing beginners, Mösern has a practice slope with a T-bar lift, where you can do your first runs in the snow away from the hustle and bustle on the slopes. For advanced skiers and professionals, the nearby ski resorts of the region offer challenging slopes in various categories for an enjoyable skiing vacation.

Vacations in Mösern-Buchen on the sunny high plateau inspire not only with numerous sunny days in the best location, but also with fantastic hiking trails for every requirement in different difficulty levels. Whether families or hiking enthusiasts, Mösern-Buchen offers attractive opportunities to get to know nature at its best. Nestled in the nature reserve, at 1,292 metres above sea level, you will find the lake Möserer See, which is up to 11 meters deep and one of the warmest swimming lakes in Tyrol. Small jetties and meadows along the lake invite you to swim and linger on vacation. Not far away you encounter the Wildmoossee and the Lottensee (aperiodic mountain lakes), two well-known natural phenomena, which occur irregularly and are an interaction between the water level and the underground karst system due to the spring precipitation and the snowmelt.

If you also want to see cultural peculiarities during the holidays, Mösern is the place to be. The mighty, free-standing peace bell on a hill with a magnificent view over the Upper Inn Valley symbolizes the cohesion of the countries of the Alpine region and rings daily at 5:00 pm for peace. Numerous traditional fences characterize the cultural landscape in Mösern and are part of the identity and are among the oldest testimonies of rural culture. The fences built over the centuries and still maintained today are intended to revive the tradition, preserve knowledge and skills and underline the rural character of the village. Another jewel is the small mountain farmer museum Bergbauernmuseum Ropferstub‘m, which presents collectors' items from the 19th and 20th century.
